My understanding of submission has evolved
Hello everyone
When I first entered these spaces I had pre conceived expectations. I was the submissive, and I would simply offer myself to a domme and obey her.
It just didn’t work because no meaningful communication took place beforehand. Av>tribute>kinks>safe word>go, usually way too quickly.
I crashed and burned, and started to question my place here. Until I was invited to this subreddit.
I met a domme who took the time to listen to me. I’m a very gentle person, and she took this and showed me what gentle control and subtle dominance is all about.
I’m naturally submissive, I don’t need harsh treatment. Every time I’ve slightly stepped out of line I’ve been put back into to my place quite beautifully.
I can’t submit in fear, but I can in the safe environment she has created for me. We are only just beginning but already I’ve opened up to her more than I ever have before to anyone.
This is a testament to her empathy and lived experience. It sounds simple, but she took the time to get to know me. I thank my domme i-DollEyes to the bottom of my heart for this.
