I'm 18, and I never had a father figure growing up. Ever since I was 11 I always liked guys that were like 2-3 years older, and sometimes older. I would get angry when people would tell me to find someone my age. Now I'm 18 since february, I like guys in there 20's and close to 30. I tell my family I'm a legal adult and they have no say. I just wonder it seems my whole life I've always liked guys that were too old to be with me. My friends tell me I would be better dating an 18-19 year old and but im just not interested. Like I wouldn't mind marrying a man 8 or 10 years older than me if I really loved him. What may be the reason for this preference and why do people have such a problem with ir?
