Tentatively need advice.
So I need a bit help, in particular from any Independent who is *just friends* with an Affini, and vice-versa for Affini. I met this wonderful lady named Arnyn through a mutual hobby (an old Terran tabletop miniature game). Arnyn is an Affini, and so I was worried she will try to floret me as we talk more. I *really* like her company and everything, but I'm not looking to be a floret for *anyone,* at least not yet?
I'm so nervous about even bringing this up to her, because what if she's only doing as a courtship, and stops hanging out with me after? Or if she misinterprets what I'm saying and think I'm asking to be her floret? If I had to be one it would be for her, but I don't think I want that kind of change, not for a while.
Any advice? I've been agonising over this for nearly a week TwT I really just want to keep being friends with her, and I would hate to mess it up over what could be nothing.
