Went from Snug Plug 2 to Gape Keeper 55. Noticed immediate improvements

Made a post a bit ago about issues with Snug Plugs (the rigidity, the T-bar digging into skin, ect.) so I decided to try a Gape Keeper instead. It arrived today and I already like it way more. Gives that full feeling, the more flexible material isn't overly intrusive, the neck is in that sweet spot of keeping the anus open without constantly clamping down and no issues with the handle causing discomfort. I do feel stretched out but it feels manageable over time compared to the Snug Plug where it was actively getting uncomfortable. That and I need to get better lube as I only have basic Lube Life stuff that doesn't stay around long. Many here recommend Boy Butter so I'll try that.

Only real caveat is it feels looser than the Snug, which is good to a degree as it's not stuck in one place and moves with me while I'm walking and all, but not sure if it might fall out or not. Might get a thong although I've never used one before so not sure on that yet.

Dipping my toes into plugs, already made some blunders and need advice

So, to start with I already have a lot of experience with dildos (bit of a size queen in fact). So I thought nothing of starting with a Snug Plug 6. Needless to say I VERY quickly found out just how absurdly girthy 2+ inches actually is (I'm used to length, not girth). Realized if I kept trying to force it I'd probably end up in the ER so I scaled down and got a Snug Plug 2. Felt great at first but, as I learned after finding a post here about the cons of this brand, the pointy ends of the T bar got irritating, even though I was just sitting and not even moving. I got the brand because I read it's good for public use (i.e. not falling out) which I do want but if it's going to be uncomfortable like that then, what's the point. So now I have two plugs I don't like all that much (one of them I physically can't even use) and can't return since they're already "used" so kind of frustrated. Got them during discounts off Amazon but still.

Saw recommendations for Square Peg's Egg Plugs and they do look more comfortable, but I'm not sure how they are with not slipping out with the lack of rigidity and wider base. So not sure if I need to try a bigger size like a medium or something. Can't keep buying plugs and destroying my wallet so any help to find the right one for me would be appreciated.
