My new flat cage feels easy to pull out of?

I've been using holy trainer cages for the last 5 years and I finally broke and got myself a flat cage. It came with 6 rings and the largest one fit me most comfortably.

The issue is that I feel as though it should be closer to my body as I can pull myself out quite easily.

The cage did come with urethra tubes but I didn't use them as I've heard they aren't sterile. But would they make it harder to pull out?

Or do I need to downsize my ring to one of the smaller ones? I'm guessing that would make the fit more snug but then I worry about circulation.
