Thank you r/meth <3 - see you never I hope

Wish the tag said the final day of a daily user but whateryagonnado. Rehabilitation starts tomorrow 2 1/2 hours from home. 3 whole months and the rest of my life to make back a year of debauchery, what a crock of shit. Life is incredibly uncertain as it stands but I hope to look back on this time of my life with a darkly twisted yet positive view. It’s always felt like a little secret no one else would get until I found this community.

We tweakers rightfully get a bad reputation but this strange little corner of the internet managed to make the last year not so lonely. Solidarity! Every line, slam and toke I took with all of you! Enjoy it while it lasts or soak in the shit either way you’re doing it right.

P.S enjoy some fun pics and farewell!

Persistent hallucinations - veterans any advice?

Rapidly approaching my 6 month anniversary as a daily user and around 10 months of use total. Currently I have an open relationship with every ROA. My favored are IV (sorry), hotrails and just a classic bowl. My body adapted I’d say 1 month into daily use and I since then I’ve been able to sleep and eat every day but not to the capacity I was before using meth.

There has always been mild hallucinations but over the last 2 weeks I’ve started having vivid auditory hallucinations mainly of loved ones and of sirens or screams. These hallucinations last a ridiculously long time. If you saw I posted yesterday about barricading my room for an hour all from auditory bullshit.

So, do any vets have any general advice for me aside from putting it all down?

Any anecdotal stories that may stop me from ever using again are encouraged!!

I just spent easily 45 minutes - 1 hour barricading my room

Buns new auditory hallucination just dropped. I’ve been hearing people scream my name all day. Took a shower people are yelling at me to get out so I take my sweet time and just as expected as I get out no one is there. Then eventually as I make my way back to my room and get changed i hear more people.

It’s all people I know too, my parents their new spouses/partners my sister many family friends etc. But regardless the point is that none of these people live with me. At some point during all this I fell into my phone and when I started tapping back into reality I had convinced myself everyone was trying to break in for some reason.

Spent the next 45 minutes passive aggressively yelling back insults at suspiciously quiet voices. Then when I heard someone say 9/11 I broke came out only to be absolutely and utterly baffled that no one was waiting for me
