Ive seen alot of posts recently from sellers mentioning how it has become harder to seller content / customs on reddit and other platfroms, and wanted to start a discussion on this and give one buyers perspective.

Tl;dr - the number of scammers and sellers failing to deliver is causing buyers to rethink their approach to customs.

First of all I'd like to thank all the genuine honest sellers on here, you really do make peoples dreams come true, and its unfortunate that you are effected by the actions of others.

Over the last few months i have bought a number of customs from a variety of sellers on reddit, I'm someone who is always courteous and polite when working with sellers and I never forget it is a person that I am talking to.

I have been fortunate to work with some incredible sellers and ensure that I leave a review highlighting this.

I have also worked with some sellers who have agreed to a custom but have later come bsck and said that they cant do it and offered/sent refunds - I thank you as well for your time, effort and honesty in this.

Like anyone i have experienced scammers along the way, I always flag these accounts and add a scam alert for them, of late, it feels like I have been leaving more scam alerts than I have reviews, as the ban list, whilst comprehensive, is not exhaustive.

Beyond scammers, there has also been a number of sellers who have missed deadlines for one reason or another, I accept that things happen, and I always give people the benefit of the doubt as things happen, but, as a buyer, when you see sellers interacting with other posts, but ignoring messages that you have sent, it does begin to wear you down.

Also there are more, so called sellers, who are willing to live verify and engage but then ghost buyers after the payment is taken, deleting chats and blocking them on platfroms, some of these are verified sellers.

Its all combined to make this buyer decide to take a step back from requesting customs, I have a number of customs outstanding which I still hold out hope will be delivered, but, for me, the idea of requesting new customs, for now, is a non starter.

Im sure my story isnt unique but its likely one of the biggest reasons for the hesitency of buyers to request customs at the moment.
