flower, rosin, leaflife

So here's the final 4/20 order review. LeafLife is around Madison, WI, and they usually carry a decent selection of rosins. The 1 bothersome thing is they don't seem to do free shipping, so I find it best to order when there's a deal going on.

3 of these flower strains were supplied by CannaNums. Couldn't find exact supplier for the Godfather OG. But I don't think any of these are Wisco buds. Anyways, the Blue Ripz takes the cake for me. Tastes like big fresh wave of candy fruit. Then the Wagyu seemed a bit on the muted side but still hit pretty well. The Godfather OG was actually a lower ranking of flower but packed a ton of kushy flavor and only a little less high. And then the Lavender OG was muted and didn't really do it for me. A bit too mid on that one.

I probably wouldn't order a ton of flower from here. But for the sake of convenience it might make sense to throw an eighth in the cart to accompany some of their fine rosins. And of course I also have a picture of another great cold cure jar from Terps > Wisconsin this time Frezca (Cheetah Piss x Rootbeer Freeze) with a lot of fruitiness.

I'll also be reviewing my first WAR order soon. And probably more Flannel Boyz.

3 Strains from Carbon Cannabis

Here's another 4/20 order I picked up. Carbon Cannabis is a company based out of La Crosse, WI, which is just on the border of Minnesota. They are mostly known for rosin. Today I'm showcasing their flower.

The flavor and smell for each strain is unique while managing to avoid being muted or overwhelming. I did, unfortunately, find a seed in the Blue Moon, but it wasn't enough to ruin the experience. Overall, a pleasant smoke with a decent ratio of high and taste, while not quite making it to S-tier.

I'd be willing to try some more of their flower in the future. It's better than most on the market. But, like I said earlier, this is a company most known for their rosin, which I'm also still looking to try.

Flannel Boyz 4/20 pickup (bud&rosin)

Picked up a few extra strains to go along with my usual FB monthly subscription to celebrate 4/20 week. The Blue Lobster was fantastic. I'm a big fan of the Jack Herer taste, and this strain hit close enough for me. The Golden Berry is actually the first fumble I've had from FB. It was still decent flower with fruity pungency, but I was surprised to find a seed in there. It does have that Forbidden Fruit sort of flavor that seems to polarize and was just a little less potent than their usual. Then Grape Gas is a strain I might avoid from now on, but not because FB didn't do a great job growing it. This strain is always just a little muted for me no matter where I try it. It still hit like a truck though. The Hellfire OG, however, this strain totally slaps. Great taste full of spice and top notch high. A new favorite.

And I also picked up 3 strains of rosin. Lime Cake, Benzina, and Forbidden Blueprint. I actually delayed making this post because I wanted to learn more about their rosin. I now have the lowdown on the process. It's TN Terp Farmer who is washing the hash for Flannel Boyz. I got the 3g for $90, so obviously can't compare this to shit that sells 1g for $90. But it's totally fine rosin. The Lime Cake is my preference here.

And of course my subscription also comes with a 10mg root beer and a couple pre-rolls. And now I just picked up this month's sub so expect another review soon. I also have reviews for Carbon Cannabis and LeafLife on the way soon. And I put in an order at WAR. More weed soon.
