Branded unstable for presenting radical solutions to the planetary council, Thanos becomes increasingly isolated from his peers. He retreats from public academia to a remote laboratory on the outskirts of Titan — part research station, part experimental farm — where he works tirelessly to engineer sustainable food sources, renewable ecosystems, and long-term survival models.

That’s where Captain Marvel finds him.

Carol arrives on Titan investigating strange Kree activity tied to energy theft and black-market weapons development. Instead of uncovering a military threat, she stumbles into a sprawling scientific compound filled with holographic star maps, climate projections, genetic experiments, and entire rooms dedicated to preserving dying plant species.
At the center of it all is Thanos himself: brilliant, exhausted, and utterly consumed by the need to save a civilization that refuses to save itself.
