More science and why a ban would be bad…

Key Scientific Principles & Pharmacological Data
Understanding the unique science of 7-OH is critical to crafting sensible legislation:
G-Protein Biased Agonism: Pharmacological studies demonstrate that 7-OH binds to the mu-opioid receptor (\(\mu \)-OR) primarily as a partial agonist with biased signaling pathways.
The "Ceiling Effect": Because it preferentially activates G-protein signaling over the \(\beta \)-arrestin-2 pathway, preclinical models indicate that 7-OH exhibits a functional "ceiling effect" on respiratory depression compared to classic full mu-opioid agonists.
Potency and Efficacy: While 7-OH is multiple times more potent than mitragynine or traditional analgesics in animal models, its profile as a partial agonist means its maximum physical effects plateau, offering a distinct safety profile that warrants nuanced study rather than blanket restriction.

Why Consumers Utilize 7-OH Products
Advocates and responsible adult consumers utilize these products as functional tools for wellness and daily living. Reported uses include:
Chronic Pain Management: Serving as a primary or supplementary approach to managing severe, long-term physical discomfort.
Prescription Opioid Minimization: Allowing individuals to successfully taper away from or completely avoid full-agonist prescription opioids or illicit substances.
Harm Reduction: Acting as an alternative mechanism to reduce alcohol consumption and dependency.
Occupational Sustainability: Providing physical relief from high-demand physical labor, severe structural injuries, and post-surgical discomfort.

Do we have a 7OH Lobbyist in Washington?

Is HART our lobbyist? We know big Kratom does well how about us? The 7OH community? If we don’t have one how can we get one? We mostly know it’s pay to play here. That’s how Washington works it appears. We need to pay a lobbyist to represent our ideas and interests.

Borrow mine and make it your own. Better yet….

Use Chat GPT to help you if you’re at a loss getting started. Use Google AI and or Microsoft has CoPilot I believe. This one is geared towards the FDA. It is my personal journey. It is why I choose to advocate and fight for my 7OH!

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to share my personal experience with 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) and to explain why I believe restricting or banning access to this product could have serious unintended consequences for people like me.
I am a 54-year-old working American who serves as a Facilities Maintenance Manager. My job is physically demanding, and I routinely work approximately 50 hours per week. I also serve as a caregiver for my mother. Over the last three years, I helped care for my father and my brother through serious illnesses until they both passed away. Through all of life’s challenges, I have continued to work, pay my taxes, and be a productive member of society.
I first turned to 7-OH because I was suffering from a severe pinched nerve at the C5-C6 level of my spine. The pain was intense and significantly affected my quality of life. I eventually underwent surgery, which helped, but I continue to experience daily pain. Despite this, I have continued working in a physically demanding profession.
Prior to finding 7-OH, I faced two major challenges: chronic pain and alcohol use. Today, I have been sober from alcohol for more than one year, which coincides with the period during which I have used 7-OH. In my experience, 7-OH has been an important tool in helping me stay away from alcohol. I have also heard similar stories from many other adults who report that 7-OH helped them stop drinking or reduce their alcohol consumption.
I have deliberately chosen not to seek out illicit street drugs, and I have avoided relying on traditional opioid pain management. Based on my own experience and observations, I believe 7-OH is a safer alternative than many pharmaceutical narcotics commonly prescribed for chronic pain. I have found it to be effective for managing my pain while allowing me to remain functional at work and in my responsibilities at home.
Another reason I prefer 7-OH is that, in my experience, it is easier to discontinue than many prescription opioids. While no substance is entirely without risk, I believe the risks associated with 7-OH should be considered in the context of the alternatives that many people face, including alcohol abuse, illicit drug use, or long-term dependence on prescription narcotics.
I am deeply concerned that restricting or eliminating access to 7-OH would punish responsible adults who use it carefully and lawfully, while doing little to address the real problems of misuse and abuse. In my case, losing access to 7-OH could leave me with fewer options for managing chronic pain and maintaining my sobriety from alcohol. For others, it could mean a return to drinking, a return to illicit substances, or a return to more dangerous prescription medications. Those are not hypothetical risks; they are the real consequences many adults would face if access is taken away.
I respectfully urge the FDA not to impose a blanket restriction or ban on 7-OH for responsible adults. Instead, I ask the FDA to preserve access for adults who use it responsibly while considering sensible safeguards such as age restrictions, product standards, accurate labeling, and clear warnings. A policy that removes access entirely would not eliminate demand; it would simply push many people toward more dangerous alternatives and create avoidable harm.
Adults should be trusted to make informed decisions about what they choose to put into their own bodies, especially when they have found a product that helps them remain employed, support their families, and contribute positively to society. My lived experience with 7-OH has been far more beneficial than the system that too often leaves people choosing between unmanaged pain, highly addictive medications, or ineffective treatment options.
Please consider the experiences of responsible adult users before taking any action that would restrict access to 7-OH. For people like me, access matters. It has helped me remain sober from alcohol, manage chronic pain, continue working full-time, care for my family, and maintain a productive life. Taking that option away would not solve the underlying problems; it would likely create new ones.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Your Name

Big shoutout to Raw and their customer service!

Kailey and the team handled my shipping issue caused by USPS with top shelf customer service. Lots of communication and guidance through the journey it became. Paid extra for USPS Priority Express and the package went MIA. And just as Raw said would happen, the moment (2 days) I filed a claim my original shipment started to move again. When I picked it up the box was pulverized. Through great communication and proper customer service Raw MIT just earned another customer for life. Thanks! Raw Rocks!
