I live in Colorado USA , my question is are psychiatrist not allowed to prescribe bensoz more than once a day ? I ask because I have severe anxiety currently taking Lexapro and Valium its been months and I'm still the same I started first with 0.5mg of xanax once a day and now 10mg of Valium once a day . My question is I asked my psychiatrist if there was a way that she could updose Valium like maybe twice a day because my anxiety is like so bad like really really bad and she said that was impossible because she's not allowed to do that , she said that the pharmacy would not allowed me to be prescribed more of a higher dose . Is that true ???

Looking for a good understanding psych, I already take Lexapro and Valium once a day I've been on this for months and still dealing with anxiety. I feel my provider is not a good fit so looking for another one.
