It's because of 2FA. My old phone broke; I dropped it when someone bumped into me on my way to an exam. It won't turn on at all.
I know I'm not blameless. I can't find the document where I wrote down my emergency password removal codes. Stupid, I know. But still... I got through the 2FA nightmare with every other service I have that uses it, some of whom also have small teams. I feel like it should not be taking this long with Tryst, especially because this is already starting to affect me financially. I'm genuinely scared about my situation if this goes on for another two weeks... especially because if, god forbid, they need me to do x, y, z before getting access to my account again, potentially waiting for even more weeks for them to see that. (For what it's worth, I threw as much as I could in my support ticket to hopefully avoid this, including my ID and new verification photos!)
My main worry is that because the issue comes from me not being able to log in, my ticket went straight to the bottom of the barrel (they say that you should be logged in while submitting a ticket to make sure it's triaged appropriately or whatever).
I know other people have dealt with more serious things and longer waits than me, so I feel sort of ridiculous for complaining, but at the same time, that's pretty sad, isn't it? I've not been able to access my account for two weeks. I should not feel like I'm in a better spot than many others who have had issues with Tryst recently, you know?
Also, I hate complaining like this, especially because I worked in customer service for a long time as well. Like, I get it... but I also don't, because the companies I worked for would have never let these long wait time issues persist for this long.
TL;DR I'm frustrated right now and becoming increasingly scared financially if this continues for much longer. Thanks for reading 😔
