Is this the worst

Going back to dancing after having a part-time civ job and taking a break for almost seven months. Before I took a break, I had been dancing since 2016. I’m starting nursing school, and I’m not going to be able to juggle a civ job with the demands of nursing school. I’m in LA, and y’all know it’s the worst place to dance 🤣. I always did okay, and it didn’t really affect me until around 2025, Then things started getting really gross. So I took a break and got a part-time job at a salon while finshing nursing prereqs since I have my Cosmo license. I gave my two weeks because I start my program in June.

Everyone has such horrible things to say. I know some girls are just negative and can’t hustle, but it seems like noooo body has anything positive to say about the clubs right now. I only want to work weekends, maybe Friday and Saturday. Everyone is making it seem like these days you have to be in the club at least five days a week to benefit. I’ve also worked in Vegas on and off, and I loved it, but I don’t know if I want to be traveling like that while trying to focus on my program.

What do you guys think? Is it the worst time in history to be a dancer, or has it been worse? I’m still going to try, but I want to know what everyone thinks and how they’re getting along these days.
