Reddit filters keep removing my posts and I don't know why 😕
I'm a bit confused and hoping someone can help me understand what's going on.
A few days ago I received one of those "Important Information About Your Reddit Account" messages asking me to reset my password. It honestly scared me because I thought I had been shadowbanned, but thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case.
Since then, though, I've been having issues posting. I tried posting a RedGIFs link in one subreddit and it was instantly removed by Reddit's filters. I assumed maybe I just needed more karma for that community.
But today I tried posting in another subreddit where a moderator had personally approved me as a user, and the post was immediately removed by Reddit's filters again.
As far as I can tell, I'm using the correct flairs and following the rules. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what might trigger Reddit's filters like this?
Any advice would be appreciated!
scammer FEET BUYER or should i say time waster
This guy contacted me after my post on r/FuzzyFluffyComfy i guess because of my low karma i gave inexperienced vibe, little did he know i actually used to do this back in the pandemic era so i know that when an offer looks too good to be true (he started offering 700£ till reaching 1000£) it more probably a SCAM.
He wanted a call without paying ANYTHING in advanced. So be carefull seller out there
Almost got scammed! where to do video calls?
I almost got scammed into doing a video call and wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience.
A buyer contacted me through one of my posts on r/FuzzyFluffyComfy and kept increasing his offer for a video call: first £700, then £800,moved to telegram and then £1000; saying he’d pay £100 per minute. That immediately felt suspicious.
To test if he was serious, I asked for just 10% upfront(cause yes i read the post i found on here) before the call and told him he’d only have 2 minutes (so I wouldn’t waste too much time if it was a scam). When the time came, he called, I declined, and told him: “No — respectful buyers know the rules.” Then he disappeared and then i run to block him but he already blocked me.
My questions:
- Is Telegram safe/good for these kinds of calls?
- Did I handle this correctly?
- Has this happened to anyone else?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
