When I told him im no longer comfortable with fulfilling his request, he become very rude and insulting and threatened to warn other buyers about me. Should I be worried?

The feet hustle is my full time job, and around 16% of my income is worn items (socks, shoes, slippers, panties, nylons, etc). I see a lot of questions here asking about how to get into selling this stuff, so I figured I'd do a post in case it helped anyone! Check out my other posts for more content focused learnings (here and here).

Basic stats:

• I've sold 44 pairs of socks, 17 pairs of shoes (incl. slippers), 7 pairs of panties, and 3 pairs of nylons for $7.5k total revenue
  • My most popular socks are Nike crew socks (white and black), and my most popular shoes are vans/converse.
• On average, I sell 5 pairs of socks and 2 pairs of shoes per month, but this varies widely. Panties and nylon sales are very sporadic
• On average, socks sell for $80 (excluding some serious outliers, more on that later), shoes sell for $100 (same thing with the outliers), panties sell for $35, and nylons sell for $65
• By revenue, my platform breakdown is 53% Reddit, 37% All Things Worn, and 10% OnlyFans. I've made a negligible amount on Instagram and FB Marketplace and don't spend time promoting there anymore.

Pricing:

I've tried out a couple of pricing strategies and here's what works best for me: For items that get washed regularly (socks, panties, nylons), I charge an amount for the item + one day of wear, then allow the buyer to add on days of wear, workouts, or other things. For shoes, since they're already stinky, I charge a set amount, and buyers can add on more days of wear or other add-ons. Examples:

• Socks and nylons cost $30 for one day of wear, +$10 for each additional day, or +$50 ($80 total) to make it a week. If buyers want more than one week, I make it more expensive over time, since it gets harder for me to deal with. $180 for two weeks, $300 for 3 weeks, $450 for 4 weeks/one month, etc.
• Panties cost $15 for one day of wear, +$10 for days 2-3 (each), and +$20 for days 4-5 (each). I won't wear a pair of panties for longer than 5 days because the yeast infection ain't worth it. This might seem cheap as fuck, and it is, but the market for worn panties is SO SATURATED. Most sellers offer nudes with the panties so they can charge more. I don't do this, so I gotta keep it cheap if I want them to sell (I recently lowered my prices and have sold 4 pairs in a month vs 2 pair in a year).
• Shoes really depend:
  • If it's a pair that I wear all the time and will need to replace, I charge 150% of the retail cost (i.e. if my favorite gym shoes will cost $70 to replace, I'll list them for $100ish).
  • If it's a pair idgaf about, I'll go a little lower than retail.
  • If the pair is unbelievably stinky, I up-charge a good bit (because no extra days are necessary).
  • If they're not very stinky, I list them way low and recommend a week or two of wear, or I list them at retail and say that 2 weeks of wear is included.
• Add-ons:
  • For socks, nylons, or panties, a day of wear: $10
  • For shoes, a day of wear: socked $5, sockless $10
  • Workout: $10/session
  • Saran-wrap booties (to create extra sweat in socks): $10/day
  • No washing my feet (by wearing cast covers in the shower): $10/day, but gets more expensive as time goes on
  • Panties and nylons specific:
    • No wipe: $20/day (more expensive as time goes on)
    • No shower: $15/day (more expensive as time goes on)
    • Masturbation: $10/session
    • Alpha cum: $20 (I could do this in socks/sneakers too, but no one has ever asked for it)
    • I don't really offer 🍋 or 🍫 but I'd consider it if someone was shelling out
• The buyer always covers shipping for shoes. I'll cover shipping for something light (socks, panties, nylons) if the purchase price is over $120 or so.

Being successful on All Things Worn:

I see a lot of people talking about how hard it is to stand out on ATW, especially as a no-nudity seller (or faceless, though I can't personally speak to that). I didn't actually sell a worn item on ATW until FIVE MONTHS AFTER I SIGNED UP. I was making money on content, calls, and sexting ofc, more than enough to cover the monthly fee, but I always thought it was kinda funny that no one wanted the actual worn things lol. Anyway, here's what helped me break through:

• Take advantage of every single "instant content" slot on your profile and make sure what you have listed specifically relates to your stinky feet, socks, shoes, etc., whatever you're trying to sell. If it sells, great, if not, at least it's communicating to people that your feet really do stink.
• Be extremely descriptive in your listings (instant content and physical items) about what your feet actually smell like. Don't lie. Figure out if your feet smell like vinegar, cheese, corn chips, or something else. Write descriptions in a "triggering" way that will activate the fantasy when people read them. For example, "Stinky socks, worn for 5 days" isn't triggering anyone. "Ripe, sweat-drenched Nike crew socks, worn for 5 days and infused with my vinegary scent until ALL of my friends noticed the smell 😈" is selling a fantasy.
• For anything pre-worn, honestly rate the current smell out of 10. Buyers will ask for this, and sometimes they're just looking for free kink chat, so if it's in the listing, you can avoid playing into it. Plus, it means you can cover your ass if someone buys something and says "why wasn't it stinkier???" as long as you rated it honestly.
• Re-post listings as often as you can. Each listing can be re-posted once a week, and you can re-post 5 per day (on their standard plan. Diamond sellers can do it more often. It doesn't seem worth it to me personally).
• Post to the dash (the internal feed feature) every day, whether it's a picture (like you'd post on reddit) or something horny like "Really in the mood to watch a loser leak to my rancid soles on cam tonight".
• If you get a sale, make SURE to create an order with their internal order feature. The number of orders you complete influences seller rankings, and when you get top 10% or higher, you get a badge which promotes you more to buyers. You also can't review buyers or vice versa without an order.
• Additionally, ALWAYS ask your buyers to leave a review, and if it's for a worn item, ask them to specifically describe your scent. That helps other buyers know if they'll like what you're selling, and shows that you're telling the truth.

Selling on Reddit

The most important thing about selling worn items on Reddit is that your entire content brand revolves around your stinky feet. Take a look at my page if you don't understand what that means. Almost every single thing I post is about scent, and you will NEVER see me post about my "clean, soft soles", you'll never see me rubbing lotion or anything scented into my feet, and you'll DEFINITELY never see me post pics of me in the bath or with soapy suds on my toes. Shattering the fantasy loses you customers. This is why it's so important to pick a niche and stick to it, and if your chosen niche contradicts your feet being stinky, it's probably not going to be super easy for you to sell socks on the same account. I didn't start selling anything physical until I picked stinky feet as my niche.

Some other Reddit tips:

• There are some subreddits where selling socks is permitted, like r/usedsocks, but I mostly just post in subreddits relating to stinky feet, socks, sneakers, other shoes, or smelling feet/socks/shoes. Buyers come to me. Occasionally, I'll respond to ads on r/FetishWantAds.
• Lots of "buyers" claim they want to buy socks, but really just want to see free sock pics (because how could you expect anyone to buy a pair of socks without seeing them first??) I weed these people out by:
  • Immediately asking for age verification. I will not sell a pair of socks to anyone who won't age verify, so if they won't do it (and most scammers won't), I move on, no time wasted.
  • Confirm their payment method works for me and that they live in the US. I've never sold a worn item to anyone outside the US 🤷‍♀️ the shipping is insane (often in the $60+ range) and no buyer has ever been willing to pay it (duh) even though they say they will when we first start talking, so now it's a rule that I only sell to US buyers.
  • Share my pricing and ask how many days they want.
  • Ask which pair they want. I keep a pinned post on my page with every available pair of socks I have labeled with a number. I keep a comment updated with which pairs are no longer available. I refresh the post with a new pic every 3-6 months when my stock has changed significantly. This makes it super easy for buyers to tell me which ones they want without me sending extra pics and then getting ghosted. If they ask for more pics, I tell them they're $5 each.
• If you're doing a wear, post about it on Reddit! It shows prospective buyers that someone else has trusted you with the wear, plus it builds a little FOMO.

Protecting yourself & your time:

• I require full payment before I'll hold a spot on my wear calendar for someone, or at least full payment for the first day (if someone else is willing to pay before the original buyer has paid in full, then their wear gets paused). Never EVER wear an item for even a day before a buyer has paid, and obviously do not mail the item until full payment is received.
• If you're booking a lot of wears, have some sort of system for keeping track of when you're wearing what, when you're mailing things, which wears can happen at the same time (like a sock wear and a socked shoe wear are fine to happen at the same time, but a panty-less nylons wear and panty wear are not fine to happen simultaneously).
• When you mail items, use discreet packaging (I often re-use amazon envelopes lol) and make sure that all previous labels are removed. I tend to pick a fake return address that's in the same state as me, but is not an inhabited home and not close to where I actually live. Maybe one day I'll get a PO box! When I mail the package, I bring it to a post office a few towns over so it's not postmarked in my actual neighborhood.
• Everything I sell gets vacuum sealed, and if you're serious about this hustle, I'd get one or find a way to borrow one from a friend. If your items lose scent while they're in the mail, you won't get any repeat buyers. Plus, you really REALLY don't want to get caught by the postal service for doing this because it is not strictly legal lol.
• The sale of worn items is not allowed on Only Fans. In my experience, you won't get banned for discussing it, but I try to move anyone who's interested in it to telegram and have them pay another way so I don't risk it. I also make them verify their age again, because OF doesn't do it for buyers in all states/countries.

Other fun facts:

• The most expensive pair of socks I've ever sold were almost $2k (I wore them for 2.5 months, didn't wash my feet, and kept my feet wrapped up in saran wrap booties lol).
• The most expensive pair of shoes I've ever sold are were $450 and counting (I'm still wearing them for the buyer and he pays me weekly).

Is the Reddit Verification on telegram real or a scam? They want a verification fee..

I've been a buyer of foot fetish content and interactions online for the past 4 years. I've seen other buyers post information about their approaches to buying before, but haven't encountered any posts that go in-depth about the internal thoughts, decision-making process and psychological subtleties that go on the buyer side, and I figured that documenting those could prove interesting.

I'm one particular buyer with specific tastes and preferences, so a lot of this will not generalize to buyers as a whole, but at least some of it likely will, and generalizable or not, having a single well-documented perspective could prove valuable regardless.

I'm not using AI to help draft this post, so forgive the occasional typo or awkward phrasings.

I'm going to relay:

1. How I approach seeking out new sellers, in terms of which channels I use.
2. How I decide whether or not to approach a particular seller.
3. Content and interactions that I buy.
4. How I approach communication, pricing, and payment,
5. How I decide to repeat-buy from the sellers I've interacted with before. (In the comments, to fit post length limit)

1. How I approach seeking out new sellers, in terms of which channels I use

In reality, when I decide to buy, the first instinct is most of the time to buy from sellers I've already interacted with before rather than seeking out new seller, but I'm leaving information about how and when I repeat-buy for the last section. Here I'll start with where I find sellers I haven't interacted with before.

1.1 r/feetpicsbuyerandsell

I've found that this subreddit is the locus of feet content selling on reddit. The sidebar and pinned posts would have you believe that it's a subreddit for the users of feetfinder, but in reality it has nothing to do with it (the mods are just affiliated with feetfinder, and so use the pinned posts and sidebars to advertise it). Rather, this subreddit serves as a board on which sellers announce that they're looking for buyers. It is not a content-based subreddit, so there are no rules about not reposting old content, and in fact you'll end up seeing the same posters over time with their signature ad content, which sort of establishes a core community. Also despite the fact that there's "pics" in the subreddit title, in reality all common forms of content and interactions get advertised here.

The way to use it as a buyer is to sort it by new and scroll across the sellers that have posted in the last 24 hours or so, and in the process select the ones to DM.

Scams are common, both on buyer side and seller side, so the navigation process is not just for filtering for attraction and content compatibility, but also the likelihood of getting scammed (more on this in later sections).

In terms of the number of sellers I've found and have had good interactions with, this subreddit is probably the main source. I don't know if there are any other large ones that function like this one. I've encountered a few, like r/feetpicbuyer, but they seem very small, and creators that post there also tend to post on r/feetpicsbuyerandsell.

1.2 r/fetishwantads

This one's different. It's a heavily moderated subreddit with tight rules. Buyers post what they are looking for, and must in their post include the budget and payment methods. Sellers are then allowed to reply to the post. If the seller has had some number of positive reviews in the accompanying subreddit r/fetishbuyerscommunity, a bot will reply that that's the case. No other posting or commenting is permitted. Sellers aren't allowed to post directly. Buyers are not allowed to start conversations in the comment threads - the comments are strictly for sellers to reply to the post and for the review-confirming bot to provide additional information. There's karma requirements for posting on both buyer and seller sides, and there's a public blacklist. Reaching out to a buyer without commenting on their post can get sellers banned.

In terms of reliability for not getting scammed, or getting niche custom content, this is probably the safest place on the buyer side. However, it is best for situations where you want to receive a very specific kind of content and experience, and don't really care about who it comes from too much. A single fetish content buying post will usually receive 4 to 8 seller replies, so if you're filtering not just for content fulfillment match but also for the attraction to the seller, the chances are smaller than what you'd encounter by being able to scroll hundreds of ads on r/feetpicsbuyerandsell. It's possible to make a dent in this number by offering larger budgets for the same request, but even then the number of seller replies doesn't go up by much. To me this is actually a sign of a healthy community: the sellers of this community are honest about what they can provide, and they don't start offering to fulfill requests they can't fulfill just because the listed budget is high.

I've posted on r/fetishwantads a few times, sometimes successfully and sometimes not, but even in the unsuccessful case the bad part is that either the interaction didn't go through or it was lackluster, but never getting scammed.

Other than posting yourself as a buyer, a good use of the subreddit is going through other people's posts and seeing sellers that tend to comment. This is a reliable way of finding a lot of accounts of sellers who approach the work with relatively more professionalism and dedication than what you'd find just messaging a random seller from a content subreddit or r/feetpicsbuyerandsell. I've found multiple creators that I've repeatedly bought from this way.

1.3. Content-based subreddits, including general feet subreddits ( r/verifiedfeet, r/feet_nsfw, etc.), as well as subreddits for niches I'm particularly interested in (e.g. r/selfworship, r/selfworshipsfw)

The upside of content-based subreddits is that they're much easier to use for finding sellers that you're attracted to as a buyer. This is likely due to the verification requirements as well as due to the fact that those subreddits are for posting content directly - for a seller it only makes sense to go through the verification process and then post free content as advertising if they've already confirmed that this work is a viable way to make money for them, and that's highly correlated with being able to present yourself attractively, being a good fit for the fetish, being able to take photos and film in high quality, etc. Another upside is that since the posts on those subreddits are well-made novel content, the scrolling process itself is more fun (what a surprise, looking through pages of curated content of beautiful women showing off their beautiful feet in beautiful lighting is fun for a foot fetishist). A bonus point of finding a seller on the niche-based subreddit is that you know that they're already aware of and engage in that niche.

The downside is that the majority of accounts posting on such subreddits, probably around 80%, don't intend to sell on reddit or personally at all. Instead, their reddit posts serve as ads for their fansites (OnlyFans, Fansly, LoyalFans). In fact, probably many of those accounts are either not seller managed, or fully automated, as many of those accounts tend to post very large amount of content across wide variety of subreddits. The reason this is a downside as a buyer is that I only use OF for buying pre-mades, and this is the content I'm least interested in. The impression I get is that on OF, the interaction with the seller itself is seen as part of the content you're buying and the thing you're paying for, but I don't have any interest in that. For me, initial interaction is just for clearly communicating what I'm seeking, checking availability, and arranging payment. Meanwhile, on OF the interactions themselves tend to be very fake and "hey babe did you miss me"-clad (and that is if you're actually chatting with the seller directly at all, rather than a bot or a hired chatter). I never order customs or arrange calls on OF; to me it's strictly for buying premade content, and that is something I want very rarely (more on this in later section).

For finding sellers on those subreddits with whom I do intend to interact, the things that hint to me that the kind of interactions I'm seeking are on the table are:

• If the seller's profile calls for DMs rather than just linking to a paysite.
• If the profile includes Telegram (chat account, not channel) or SnapChat.
• If the profile directly mentions offering video calls.
• If the seller's rate of posting is reasonable, rather than seeing them do tens or hundreds of posts across multiple communities in the span of hours, which heavily suggests fake or third-party-controlled account.

1.4 feetfinder

I've tried to use this platform, but to be honest as a buyer I haven't had a single positive experience here. It's *very* hard to find sellers there who both provide the services that I want and who I'm attracted to. It is flooded with low-quality, low-effort content.

The overall focus there seems very wrong to me: it's a platform that charges sellers a fee for operating there. To me this suggests that the platform itself doesn't have faith in there being many transactions and being able to profit from transactions themselves, which means that the platform itself is built with the understanding that it's not a genuinely good place for buyers to connect with sellers. Rather, it's a platform that generates revenue off of those who have encountered stories online about how selling feet pics is a way to make quick buck: sellers register hoping to make money, upload a few pictures and reach out to a few buyers, see that it's not working out, and leave the platform $5 poorer.

One supposed benefit for buyers is that the sellers actively reach out to you. In reality, in pretty much all instances the ones reaching out are ignoring all of the preferences specified on your profile, so the reach-out is meaningless. To add to this, the platform's littered with some deeply unethical content that goes beyond kink, and avoiding it is impossible without having to manually sift through and block profiles, of which there are too many.

I know that for some buyers and sellers this platform has worked out, and I'm not trying to yuck anyone's yum. But in the end, the experience there for me personally was not good.

1.5 What about other subreddits, online platforms, social media?

On two occasions I've connected with a seller over FetLife, but those were coincidental, and I'd say that's not what that platform is for.

There's other foot-specific platforms similar to feetfinder, like funwithfeet, that I haven't tried those.

I also know that there's some related communities on twitter, and that some buyers seek out sellers instagram, but I haven't tried either.

2. How I decide whether or not to approach a particular seller

Filtering for which sellers to reach out to essentially comes down to three factors: attraction, risk, and availability.

2.1 Attraction

This is by far the strongest filter for me. It's the case that sometimes I can browse through multiple days of r/feetpicsbuyerandsell posts without finding any posts by sellers that I both feel attraction towards and haven't already DMed before. It's not hard on the internet as a whole to find a content creator who I feel attracted to in general, but there's a big gap between finding a content creator as in "a baddie on IG who has an OnlyFans link", and finding a seller who actually offers personalized customs and video calls. The latter is what I look for when seeking out sellers to contact.

Attraction basically manifests as an instant tingle that I get when seeing the seller's posted picture, which happens when the seller and the posted picture match my preferences strongly. It's sometimes easy to forget that this is how it works. When I'm in the mood for novelty, and really would like to believe that I'll find a new seller to contact, I sometimes end up staring at a profile from r/feetpicsbuyerandsell, pondering whether I should DM or not, and end up having to remind myself that if I have to think hard about whether or not I'm attracted enough to reach out, then I'm not attracted enough.

Part of the reason I end up skipping on the vast majority of the profiles I encounter is that I'm generally picky. The traits that I end up being most drawn to are beautiful face, petite body, smooth skin, long and slender legs, and beautiful eyes and hair. I'm omitting feet here deliberately. I do of course have preferences in this regard (I prefer small feet with slender ankles, tall arches, and long toes), but ultimately, for me, if I'm reaching out to a person to buy foot fetish content, then their feet basically have to be flawless to begin with.

In reality it's a bit subtler than above. example, sometimes I see a feet closeup picture that for some reason appeals to me in some way: something about the shape of the ankle flowing to calf, or smoothness of the skin on top, or evenness of the color on the soles or flawlessness of the toes will jump out. Then I'll go into the profile and sure enough, the seller's face and body, and sometimes even personal style, ends up matching my preferences exactly. There seems to be some hidden correlations between different things I'm attracted to that I have learned to identify instinctively. This I believe is likely the case for most men: we end up learning to recognize the traits we are attracted to subconsciously in split second even when a lot of context is missing, for example with a cropped picture.

Another thing that attracts me to certain posts is if the post is suggestive of the seller's willingness to engage in the kind of content I seek. I mostly buy video calls and customs related to self worship, so things hinting at it will attract me, e.g. feet and face framed together, tongue sticking out towards feet, feet held in a flexible pose that suggests they'll be brought close to the face, showing off lower body flexibility, or just straight up self worship.

In contrast, I end up ignoring profiles that only post close-ups most of the time (no disrespect to no-face profiles, it's just not what I personally look for). It's often not possible to gauge attraction for those sellers, and I can guess the answers to the "are you willing to show face in paid content" and "are you willing to perform self worship" questions that I'd have to ask them beforehand, so there's not much point, even if I'm wrong about their answers 2% of the time. That said, if the seller shows in posted pictures the outline of her body, I'll sometimes reach out and ask those questions even if face not shown anywhere, if I get the tingle I mentioned above (the answer to those questions is still often a "no" from them, but the attraction makes asking worth it). I remember one specific instance of seeing a profile where the seller didn't show her face anywhere, but for some reason my whole body felt like it was telling me that her appearance would be exactly matching my preferences based on the posing, the body/skin, the fashion, and the lighting. This process really is largely instinctual and subconscious pattern recognition-driven.

I've noticed that I'm more attracted to profiles that are feet-focused despite also offering nudity/NSFW content, than towards sellers that do foot stuff only. With latter profiles, I get the sense that the reason they do foot content is that their mind doesn't register the fetish as sexual, and allows them to engage with the buyers with the belief that they're not really putting the intimate parts of themselves on the line, and so interactions with them won't have the nature I want them to have. Meanwhile, with the former I get the opposite sense: they understand and accept the intimate, sexual nature of the fetish, and don't avoid the fact that what's being sought by buyers is an interaction the nature of which is sexual and erotic. Interaction with those sellers feels like I'm being given more acceptance and more opportunity to explore my desire without shame.

One other thing that attracts me, although it's definitely never a hard requirement I go into the search process with, is alternative personal style, in terms of fashion, makeup, and decor sense. To me this isn't an "I'm into OF goth girls" thing at all. I'm into a very large variety of styles, and I lead alternative lifestyle myself and I'm able to sniff out inauthenticity in this regard. This attraction is caused more by a sense of personal compatibility or camaraderie in terms of the lifestyle, life led, and aesthetic taste, which might not seem like the kind of thing that would influence whom to buy content from when horny, but when you think about it, of course it does. We all seek out interactions with people we would like to actually like in real life.

I'm not into power dynamics in online stuff, so profiles that are fully oriented towards femdom end up detracting me. When a seller's profile asks for a tribute (which is to say, an initial fee for starting the conversation), that's a clear sign for me to avoid DMing unless the profile specifies that this is for femdom-seeking buyers only. It makes sense for those for whom there's some sort of "I have to offer payment in order to gain the privilege of conversation" power-based eroticism in kicking off the conversation, but for me the initial conversation is for relaying what I'm seeking and coming to an arrangement about availability and payment, not part of the service. It's not erotic in itself, and isn't something that I'm willing to pay for. In a similar vein, profiles that are heavily femdom/findom/cuckolding-oriented, or seem to take pride in engaging with buyers with disrespect, are unappealing to me.

Some of my preferences from this section are probably very specific to me, but some I believe are likely preferences that are common across the board for buyers. I have before seen comments from new sellers asking something in the vein of "I actually only have 9 toes, can I still make money off of selling feet pics", with the replies being encouragements along the lines of "of course, there's a niche for everything". I don't follow. If there's a niche for everything, and you have 9 toes but have 10 fingers on your hands, why not go for hand fetish community instead? The reason for that is that the hand fetish market is rather small. Market consisting of buyers who have foot fetishes but are into feet with missing toes will be even smaller. I don't believe it's realistic to say that there's a demand for everything. While preferences vary and there are large swaths of buyers whose preferences are going to be radically different from mine listed above, at the very least I believe that the vast majority of foot fetishists will skip on sellers who have deformed feet.

2.2 Risk

There are, as sellers will undoubtedly know already, a whole lot of scammers hanging around. Just as there aren't actually any good avenues for sellers to, for example, fight against a chargeback, there also aren't any good avenues for a buyer to fight against non-delivery after payment. For me, most payments happen over Throne, PayPal, or crypto (more on this in a later section). Requesting refunds is not possible with any of those options, and with Throne and PayPal, doing chargeback from bank side will threaten your account or invalidate your cards on the site. The truth of the matter is that as a buyer, after the payment is done, there's nothing you can do in case of non-delivery. As such, we have to filter out for possible scams beforehand. But even when not getting scammed per se, there's always a chance of a seller who fulfills the request partially, or without understanding your intent, or who doesn't end up committing to the arranged timing.

On reddit, I will not DM any seller who hides posts on their profile. Any legitimate seller would benefit from giving additional information and post history to potential buyers. A hidden profile heavily suggests a fake one. If an account is new, I'll trust it far less. The more the account seems to have engaged with the community, the more I'll trust it, with replying to ads on r/fetishwantads regularly being the strongest signal that the account is legitimate and belongs to an actual seller.

A menu linked from the profile helps establish credibility immediately. The best menus are upfront about both the pricing per media type (pics, videos, calls, sessions), as well as the types of interactions offered. For example if I see a menu and see that there's a price for video calls offered, and the menu lists self worship as one of the kinks the seller offers, I immediately know that there would be no misunderstandings if I contact the seller to arrange a video call featuring self worship. This clarity greatly reduces the hesitation I feel before reaching out. Similarly, if a seller has a menu, and lists prices for premades, custom photos and videos, and text sessions, but not calls, then I know that most likely they don't offer calls, so if I'm looking to buy a call I have a strong signal to not reach out to them, saving both of us time (an explicit "I don't do calls" message does the same even better).

As mentioned in above sections, if I find a profile from content-based subreddits and they only have a fansite link, without any invitation for DMs, then I won't reach out. It's a rather strong signal that the seller will not be offering the kind of engagement that I'm seeking (it's indicative of a seller who already has a large enough following that they can't find much time for individual non-automated interactions anymore), so not reaching out removes the risk of coming to some supposed arrangement only to then be disappointed/scammed.

Also as mentioned above, I won't reach out to profiles that mention tributes unless they explicitly state that it's for femdom buyers only, even if the account posts stuff that seems to suggest that it's not femdom-only. The reason for this is that there's a scam in which a buyer and seller come to a complete arrangement about the offered service and payment, the buyer makes payment, and then all of a sudden the seller texts "cool, but this only includes payment for a service, where's my tribute?", and then refuses to refund the initial payment. In my communications with sellers I expect agreed-upon payment to be the only payment required for receiving the agreed-upon service, and don't risk ambiguity about this.

For all sellers on reddit, I check the r/fetishbuyerscommunity banlist. I've been saved by this more times that you'd expect. I also check for reviews, but there aren't any for many sellers, so it's an added bonus for safety, but not a hard requirement, unless something is alarming me that a seller's account is suspicious even despite not having any of the red flags above, in which case I'd rely on the existence of a review to gauge safety.

I don't really do verification on my end. If they have reviews and aren't in banlist, good enough for me. If they don't, but the profile doesn't seem suspicious to me, that's also good enough for me. To me there's no point in having the creator send the "selfie + handwritten date" thing, as it can be faked easily. At some point you have to accept the risk of the scam, as there's no way around it.

For verification by the seller on my end: I'm fine with making a photo with my passport (blacked-out name and photo, only date of birth shown) and a piece of paper with current date and my username. This is the only verification I've been asked. If I'm asking for a video call I'd be fine with showing my face on the passport (they'd end up seeing it a few minutes in anyways), but for customs I'd rather stay faceless.

After all this, if a seller's profile mentions their telegram username, I reach out there. Otherwise I DM directly on reddit. I also bookmark sellers that I'd like to reach out to eventually but not yet, and I try to have at least 3-4 sellers bookmarked that I haven't yet reached out to, to avoid the hassle of having to sift through many profiles again in case I get the urge for novelty soon.

2.3 Availability

Reddit is very US-centric. I'm in a timezone very far from the US timezones, and this does cause some problems. For video calls, I've found that scheduling a call beforehand is basically impossible: either the call happens sometime soon after reach-out, or it doesn't happen at all, as "I'll be online at this and this hour in this and this timezone" commitments are very rarely kept.

There's basically only two ways to mitigate this from the buyer side. The first is to prioritize reaching out to sellers who have posted something in the last hour, meaning they're likely to be online. The second is to look through the seller's posting and commenting history on reddit, and try to deduce approximately which times and which days of the week they're usually available. However, even with those two precautions, there are a lot of misses, where for example a seller is online to post a picture but doesn't have time for a call. This can result in a situation where the DM chat is basically a cluttered repetition of this:

>me: "Hello, are you by chance available now?"

>them: "No, sorry"

This kind of repeated useless interaction feels awkward on both sides, so after two repetitions I usually give up on contacting that seller.

On the seller side, two things that help a ton are:

1. If they specify which timezones they work from, and days and time they're usually available.
2. If on telegram they use a separate account for work, and on that one don't hide their "Last Seen & Online" status from privacy settings, so that from buyer side it shows when they were last online and if they're online at the moment (this is probably the most effective way to get repeated buys from me, but more about that in a later section).

3. Content and interactions that I buy

This section is going to be very specific to me, and likely won't generalize to most other buyers, but nevertheless just having a detailed written-down view of one particular buyer could also be insightful.

I would say that the content I buy is 70-80% video calls, 15-20% custom videos, 5-10% premade videos, and 2% regular fansite subscriptions. I don't ever buy photos (either premade or custom), physical items, or chatting sessions, as they're not really my thing.

3.1 Video calls

I mostly like to have video calls over telegram, as that's where I have the largest list of sellers I've already interacted with before, but if a seller doesn't have it I'm also okay with snapchat.

For video calls, I usually go with one of two kinds.

First is a straightforward self worship call, where with some minimal but still there interaction, I just watch the seller perform self worship. For this kind of call I focus on flexibility: I ask the seller, if they can, to kiss and lick their whole foot, not just their toes, and to position themselves in such a way that the sole of their foot is visible to the camera, as this is the kind of self worship view that I find most beautiful. Note that even though there's not a lot of interaction here besides, I still don't buy "silent calls" even for this: I want to feel some connection, and communication, even non-verbal stuff like hearing each others' breathing patterns or reading the body language, is necessary for this.

The second type of call I request is "self worship + JOI", where I ask the seller to give JOI and then at the end make me finish while she performs self worship passionately. In reality, I don't actually care for the "JOI" as actual jerk-off instructions (e.g. I never watch porn in that category). Rather, to me asking for this is basically a shorthand for "I'd like interaction and a guided session". Here I mean "guided" not in a femdom way, but rather, in the sense of the seller taking charge of my pleasure, instructing me what to do, what to pay attention to, how to move, and when to orgasm. Basically, when requesting this I like to "be talked through the session", which is to me deeply erotic.

I do seek variety in experiences, and I'm always open to new ideas for calls from sellers (or even other buyers), but those are my mainstays.

3.2 Custom videos

I request custom videos when I get an urge for something very specific, and would like to keep the content afterwards. Despite, as I'm very open above about being very into watching self worship, the custom videos I request are never "just do self worship".

As with calls, I don't ever order customs on fansites. Again, it's something I discuss with sellers over reddit, telegram, or snapchat. I feel much safer ordering a custom with a seller I've had a video call with before. An exception to this is if I requested the custom on r/fetishwantads, in which case I of course don't look for a previous interaction.

I allow myself to go a bit weirder in customs than I do in calls. Some customs I've commissioned before are: having a seller answer interview questions about their work, having a seller write and recite poetry about her relationship with her feet, having a seller learn to correctly pronounce and hypnotically repeat a word from my native language that she didn't speak while performing self worship.

Customs is also where I'm likely to pay significantly more than the going market rate (more on this in the pricing section). The most I've ever paid for a custom is $800 for a 15 minute video (although to be completely honest I was disappointed with the results; that specific custom is something I'd like to repeat in the future, but would require much more selection and organization somehow).

3.3 Premade videos, and fansite subscriptions

I only buy premade videos in two cases.

First, there is a very niche G/G video category, where two (or more) women worship the same foot (one self worship, while other kisses the same foot from the other side). I collect this material, so if I see a creator having a premade like this, usually I buy it. I do this either on fansites as PPVs or on reddit/tg.

The second is if I encounter a seller that I'm really, really, really attracted to, and get a very strong urge to see them perform self worship, in which case I'll buy a PPV with this from them on their fansite.

The buying of those two kinds of premade videos is basically the only times I ever subscribe to a fansite. All of my other interactions happen on reddit/telegram/snapchat.

4. Communication, pricing, payment

4.1 Communication

In my initial DM, I try to include as much relevant information as possible, while not asking for anything that's already determined, and I try to keep it concise.

For example, if I'm contacting a seller for a VC and their profile has minimal information, i.e. they don't have a menu posted, they don't specify which payment methods they accept, and it's not clear if they're aware what self worship is, my sample first message can be something like this:

>"Hello. I'm interested in a 5 minute video call foot fetish video call over Telegram. Are you able to perform self foot worship (kissing and licking your own feet)? Do you offer this service? If so, what would be the price, and what payment methods do you accept?"

On the other hand, if I'm contacting a seller who has all the information on their profile, i.e. they have a full-featured menu, and their profile lists their payment methods, then the intro message would be something as simple as:

>"Hello. I'm looking for a 5min video call with self worship. I can pay over throne. Are you available?"

After the initial message I like to see personal attention being paid while keeping the communication concise and non-sexual. What I mean by this:

• I don't really like the "omg hi yes babe"-type replies where there's flirtiness and faux-GFE-like talk while avoiding full answers.
• Instead, I appreciate attention given to trying to understand what I'm asking for and what I like. E.g. in the intro message I sometimes ask multiple questions, and I appreciate if the first reply answers all of them, rather than just the last one, and if the seller asks clarifying questions about what I'm looking for specifically.
• I'd like to see that the seller has genuine interest in my enjoyment, with the understanding that it's in both of our interests for the service to be enjoyable even after the money's already been transferred, as that's the way towards repeated buying.
• I appreciate friendliness and clear communication. There are some sellers that directly start reacting with aggression and friction when they misunderstand or disagree with something, rather than proceeding to clarify in a friendly way. I suppose this is a learned reaction from bad experiences with buyers, but nevertheless I think everyone should be given the benefit of the doubt. Clarification of whether I'm fine with something or what I meant by something is always a message away.

These preferences are the main reason I only buy premades on fansites but not customs. The creators on these sites to me seem to try to create exactly the former kind of "fake intimate" personal connections mainly shown in automated sending of random pictures with random pre-generated flirty texts, rather than personal, non-sexual attention paid to what I'm looking for. The feeling there is that I'm unconvinced I'm chatting with the creator herself rather than some proxy (chatbot, or for much larger creators, dedicated chatters).

Timezone and reaching out issues are annoying. As stated above, on Telegram, I have strong preference for profiles that don't hide the Last Seen time, to be able to know if they're online, and to not clutter the chat with repeated messages of me asking if they're available and them replying no.

4.2 Pricing

I sometimes see comments that "there's no such thing as average prices", "each seller's price is set uniquely", etc. I feel that those kinds of comments don't really provide any useful information, because while of course each seller sets their own price, of course average figures exist. In fact, there's a lot of information out there about proper pricing, which helps avoid uncomfortable interactions on both ends.

One source for this information is, again, r/fetishwantads. Since buyers are required to include their budget in their posts, and sellers are required to comment directly on the post, you can learn what sort of budgets are appropriate for what sort of requests by observing posts on this subreddit. For example, if there's a request that's relatively tame, but there aren't many sellers offering to fulfill it, then the budget is likely too low. r/fetishwantads's wiki actually has a section on pricing suggestions. It's actually from two years ago, but despite this, I found that the prices there mostly reflect what sellers tend to ask for calls and custom videos.

For calls and customs, I'm fine with ranges between $5-20 per minute, with an added $5-10 flat fee for fetish content, and whatever fee the platform straps on top of the total. This is a pretty wide range. On what end of this range I'm willing to pay depends on the creator, how attracted I am to them, what their video quality is like, whether they have reviews, etc.. The very upper end ($20 per minute) I reserve for either G/G calls and customs, or for calls with creators who I'm ridiculously attracted to for some reason. For other cases my prices range $5-15 a minute, varying by seller. In reality, which part of the range I expect for a particular seller usually matches the price the seller has listed themeselves. There's some common understanding that less experience, less following, and lower quality demands lower prices, and that conversely high quality and being genuinely good at interactions demands higher prices.

I never haggle. If I'm not okay with the seller's price, I wish them a good day and move on. In reality this happens very rarely. Sometimes it's the case of deeply outrageous prices, like asking for $200 a minute for a self worship call, where I get the sense that I'm not talking to an actual seller who operates in this business but a bot account who doesn't have the sense of what's reasonable and is trying to make quick buck off of a new buyer who also doesn't have a sense for what's reasonable. The case where I've rejected a seller who asked for a price in my above range but for whom I wasn't okay with the given price (e.g. a new seller without good lighting setup asking for $20/min for a regular call) is even rarer: I think this has only happened twice or three times in my four years of buying.

For some for very specific customs that not just anyone can do, I'd be willing to pay up to $50 per minute, although I've only done this very few times.

For premade PPVs on fansites, I usually don't pay more than $10/min if it's a single creator or $15/min if it's a G/G video. Again, for premades I have very high quality and content expectations. For some very exceptional premades that match my preferences exactly by quality, creator appearance, and content, I've occasionally paid around $20/min.

4.3 Payment

I strongly prefer using Throne. It's nice in that it allows for anonimity for both the buyer and the seller. Refunding is impossible as what you're paying for is a gift and not a service, but again, on buyer side in the end you just have to accept that payment is going to be a leap of faith anyway. Throne is the most comfortable to use platform I've used for payments by far.

Crypto seems good in theory, but in reality it's both relatively hard to use, and has annoying exchange fees on both ends. At least I haven't been able to find a convenient way to use it.

I've occasionally used PayPal, but needless to say it's problematic for both buyers and sellers. It's not fully anonymous, and your account can get flagged easily. Since it's also usually needed for some non-fetish stuff, I'd rather not use it for this purpose.

I've not yet used revolut. I'm not in the US, so Cashapp, Venmo, and other apps like this don't work for me.

After we agree on the payment, the method, and the time of delivery, I pay, and then we proceed (call - usually immediately, custom - hash out remaining details if any, and then wait for delivery for whenever we agreed).
