Questions about Penile Preserving Vaginoplasty
Hey all! I’m 21NB and let me just say that finding this community has been a real eye opener for me. I’ve done a fair bit of research about the prospect of me getting a PPV, however I would like to figure out some of the logistics and options that i have around the surgery, before i look into actually finding a surgeon for it and getting stuff arranged. I guess my main question is, can i keep my balls, and if so, will that cause my hypothetical vagina to have less sensation? I’m not keen on having my testicles removed because, while I identify as non binary, i still would like to maintain some of my masculine features, such as facial hair, penis size, voice, and the ability to get erect. I know that removing the testicles doesn’t fully take away those things, but I’d just rather not go in that direction for now. I don’t feel dysphoric about having a penis and testicles, i feel dysphoric about not having a vagina. I just feel like it would make me feel more like myself physically, mentally, and sexually. I just wanna know what the best option is to have a functional vagina without taking away from the function of my penis. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
