Questions about neo phallus?

Tw: will be using a lot of medical terms for parts for both afab/amab people (and intersex folks who may or may not have them as well)

Curious for any of those AFAB or born intersex without a natal penis who later recieved phallo and/or metoi.

Now, without the internal parts (seminal vessicles, testes, prostate, etc) is there any way for someone AFAB or intersex without those parts to "ejaculate"

I do not mean full fledged, but as an example, the skene gland creates secretions very similar to what a prostate creates. And for the prostate, that secretion makes up about 30% of what semen actually is.

I think, for myself in particular, being able to make some form of secrection and/or "semen" would be the ultimate euphoria. And out of all the things, it is the one thing I can find the least information about.

Would it be possible with a metoidioplasty?

So far I have found that the phallus from metoidioplasty can in fact "get hard" (which honestly is one thing I also thought wouldn't be possible and likely why I will, at least, get metoidio most definitely). But can't find much information on whether or not any form of secrections occur.

Uh.... questions?

Is Salmacian, seperated from trans? I did read FAQ and it seems to be. I am still learning.

I didn't know phallo and medi were a thing... i did know I could keep the natal vagina... but knowing there is a TERM??

So, just so I am aware.

Could someone help me with terms;

As of now I know I am trans masc (he/him), gay, likely a demiman. I want to have as much sensation as possible (keeping tdick) but I want to have penetrative sex I can feel as well. Does one need to bury for sensations? I also want to keep natal vagina, and refrain from getting testicles. I would prefer a rod for the phallo, rather than pumps (as I have no idea where those would go)

And from the looks of the group...

That is all possible?

If so, what do I *call* it?! How do I search it, find people to do it?!

Up-to-Date Surgeon List for PPV? Surgeons You'd Recommend/Avoid?

Hello! I apologize if this is a common question, I'm not seeing anything on the wiki and all of the reddit results I'm finding are pretty old. Is there an up to date list of surgeons in the US that do Penile Preserving Vaginoplasty? Do any of y'all have surgeons you would personally recommend or avoid? Thank you very much!

Looking for a transgender person to talk to about my thoughts I have about my gender

Hi everyone,

I'm 22 and I'm looking to see if there's a trans person who'd be willing to DM me and chat.

For about the past hour or two, I've been seriously thinking that I might be a girl in a boy's body. At the same time, this isn't a completely new thought. Over the last year it's come and gone a few times. Sometimes I think I want to transition, and other times I feel happy being who I am, so I'm feeling quite confused.

If I ever did decide to transition, I don't think I'd want to go all the way. At the moment I think I'd want to keep my male genitalia as well as having breasts, although I'm still trying to understand what I want and whether any of these feelings will last.

I also have ADHD and autism, so sometimes it's difficult for me to work through thoughts and feelings on my own, and I'm not always sure what's a passing thought and what's something important.

I'd really appreciate talking to just one person rather than discussing it in a big public thread. I'm much more comfortable opening up in DMs than replying to lots of different comments.

If you're a trans person and you'd be happy to chat about your own experiences and answer some questions, I'd really appreciate it. I'm not looking for anyone to tell me what I am or what I should do—I'd just like someone who's been through something similar to talk things through with.

Vaginal preserving phalloplasty

It was brought to my attention for the first time yesterday that perhaps I would be happier with mixed/multiple sets of genitalia. I had never considered this before and am quite uneducated. I pinky promise I have good intentions. I was wondering if any of you knew about surgeons in Canada who will perform a vaginal preserving phalloplasty? I'd also like to know if anybody has any resources to help learn about terms within this community and other things i should potentially know, as I am very new to it and want to understand the many aspects of this under discussed experience.

EDIT: man I just wanted to educate myself, and any resources I found talking about this used that term. Jesus christ you guys are just mean to uneducated newcomers. I get it, I used the wrong term.

Question about vaginal-preserving, urethral-lengthening phalloplasty!

Hi there all! I understand it’s a risky procedure, I understand it’ll be expensive to eventually get it done, I understand there’s a high chance of things going wrong. But I truly feel doing it that way will make me feel happiest with my body.

I just wanted to ask if it’d be possible at all to get the phalloplasty and eventually, later on get urethral-lengthening done? Will I have to just deal with what I’ve got until I can afford to get it all done together? Or would it be possible to go through more public options to get the shaft made at least, and then have the ability to pee/cum with it come later?

Dating other people with mixed genital sets? How have you met people? Interest in dating event maybe?

I’ve thought of like a speed dating event where we can have little cards where we put our info out and see who we match with 😅 it’d be such a small sample of people I’m sure we could match up somehow. Any interest in that? I’ve very passively thought about it but I have poor luck dating on apps and it would be so amazing to meet someone who’s all mixy like me! Not sure if there are enough post op (or maybe soon to be post op, that could open up options) single people here to make such an event but I thought I’d gauge interest.

What are my options to dispel bottom dysphoria without extreme systemic effects?

I understand that this is not nearly as easy as some might think, and perhaps I’m just overly optimistic. But I have been doing a lot of research and have yet to find any real solutions to reach my eventual transition goal, as I’m hormonally intersex and also have EDS.

I have female sex characteristics, but I have excess, dark terminal hair and a deep (not dropped) voice. EDS causes multiple hairs to grow per follicle, and makes my skin very delicate/stretchy (so I’m wary about surgery). Another thing the EDS causes is joint pain, so while I’m alright presently tending to my body hair (I’ve got to tweeze or nair my face basically every other day), I don’t think I could handle it if I had more than I do now. The body hair makes me very dysphoric.

It’s hard to say because I know it probably isn’t possible, but I want to basically remain as I am now, with equal or less body hair, and with both a vagina and phallus (i.e. large bottom growth, not a large one but certainly over an inch), no testicular implants or anything. I do understand this is probably unrealistic but I’m wondering what my options are. I’m in a tricky situation here in which I was congenitally assigned most all of the ‘masculine’ traits I’d care to ever deal with in one lifetime, but nothing affirming downstairs. I understand there exist things like strapons or packers but I feel extreme upset and dysphoria without a physical organ down there. Obviously I have a clit but it doesn’t erupt much. My goal for it visually reads very much as “really big bottom growth”.

My fiance suggested I get a Folx membership and look into compounded testosterone cream (DHT is not legal in our country) but I’m not sure. I’ve heard DHT is the best for localized growth?? And I don’t even know if something like a metoidioplasty will go down well with EDS. This whole thing is just so confusing and discouraging. I’d like to believe I have a happy future but I don’t even know where to start planning for it. I feel so lost

Questions about Penile Preserving Vaginoplasty

Hey all! I’m 21NB and let me just say that finding this community has been a real eye opener for me. I’ve done a fair bit of research about the prospect of me getting a PPV, however I would like to figure out some of the logistics and options that i have around the surgery, before i look into actually finding a surgeon for it and getting stuff arranged. I guess my main question is, can i keep my balls, and if so, will that cause my hypothetical vagina to have less sensation? I’m not keen on having my testicles removed because, while I identify as non binary, i still would like to maintain some of my masculine features, such as facial hair, penis size, voice, and the ability to get erect. I know that removing the testicles doesn’t fully take away those things, but I’d just rather not go in that direction for now. I don’t feel dysphoric about having a penis and testicles, i feel dysphoric about not having a vagina. I just feel like it would make me feel more like myself physically, mentally, and sexually. I just wanna know what the best option is to have a functional vagina without taking away from the function of my penis. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Salmacian surgery results

I'm not from an English-speaking country, so I use a translation app.
I would like to undergo vaginoplasty while retaining both my penis and testicles.
However, there seem to be very few documented cases of this specific procedure—I haven't been able to find much information online—and I am anxious about what the outcome might be.
Could you please show me websites featuring images of such actual cases, or photos of surgical results from someone who has undergone a procedure to create a vagina while retaining both the penis and testicles? (I will absolutely not repost or share them without permission.)
I am already aware of this site.

I didn't think this existed. I'm having a crisis.

Title… reactivated my dead reddit account purely to post here and follow along for updates. Posting from mobile with shaking hands on FlickBoard, sorry in advance for errors. I'm also writing this at night on day 3 of what has been a very stressful week, partly due to me being on a particularly painful menstrual cycle. It's rambly.

I am 28 years old with a natal vagina and all the secondary sex bells-and-whistles that come with it. I live in the U.S., in a tiny city (<30k pop.) in an extremely transphobic state. I have identified as non-binary--more specifically, agender--for approx. 9 years at the time of writing. I work full-time in mental healthcare and am married to a beautiful non-op transgender woman. We are also both Master's students, hoping to become therapists someday.

I learned of salmacian about 4 hours ago, and I briefly flicked through some of the results pics here and had a small internal crisis. I've never thought any kind of medical intervention was right for me; my gender presentation is what I used to mistakenly call "chapstick lesbian" when I was 14 and ignorant. Long hair, no chest binding, mostly gender-neutral clothing until the last 4 years or so. I started wearing plain maxi skirts and polos at work. Basically, in congruence with my CASAB. Low risk. Safe.

And then this.

Ever since I found out what a penis was (probably age 5? when I was told by one of my friends that "boys have a little tree") I knew I wanted one. I felt empty without it, somehow. My childhood didn't help; my parents are transphobic, homophobic, xenophobic conservative Christians. It took me a long time to unpack the internalized misogyny I got from growing up in that environment, but now that I have, I love my vagina and I don't have any interest in parting with it. However, the persistent emptiness where I thought a penis should also be has followed me well into adulthood. I don't have a lot of sex, despite being married. I get dysphoric, and I often find myself wishing for a dick that sat just above my clitoris so I could have the kinds of sex I want to have instead of what I've settled for my whole life. I feel empty and, frankly, not at all confident in bed, or in my body at large.

My parents still don't know about my gender, and they never will. My in-laws are supportive but by and large are ignorant of the details. I always thought it would never be an issue, since I like almost everything about my default configuration. I have never wanted to get on hormones, and until today, I thought the configuration I wanted simply didn't exist. The most I did for my gender was legally change my first name 2 years ago and update my pronouns in my e-mail signature. But now, faced with this, I'm at a huge crossroads. I know I want this, but can I navigate insurance, doctors, therapists, travel, recovery time, questions from loved ones? Am I prepared to take on all that comes with having a dick, good and bad? Can I accept it if there are complications? Will I lose my job or stifle my career? What about my health long term?

I've read the FAQ, but frankly I'm still lost. I tried skimming the latest WPATH guidelines since the FAQ said you don't have to be on hormones before surgery anymore if you don't want to be, but I'm having trouble finding the source on that. My wife is also concerned. I am chronically ill, both mentally and physically, and she's afraid any surgeries could aggravate my issues. I also have a history of chronic depression and suicidal behavior, and the thought of me pursuing this but being barred access due to all the things I just mentioned has us both very scared for me. My wife was also concerned at the lack of history and studies she could find on VPP. Who was the first recipient? How safe is it? How many people have received it? How is it long term?

We're both lost and we have a lot of questions. I'm terrified and excited all at once. I feel like crying but tears elude me. Please send help and pictures of cats.

Any cis women wearing a packer for now?

I know surgery is so complex, expensive and not an option for everyone. Anyone okay with just wearing a packer for now?

Coming to terms

Hello!

I’ve recently had to move my referral over to a different hospital due to the one I wanted to go to stopping masculinising surgeries.
However, this does mean that I am likely to get surgery sooner than planned and it’s meant I’ve been researching even more seriously.

With this it’s made me realise that UL may not be physically possible without vaginectomy due to my anatomy. I am intersex and it means my natal anatomy isn’t like the diagrams available out on the internet.
While it will make metoidioplasty with UL possibly easier, it does make it essentially impossible to keep the natal plumbing.

I am struggling to come to terms with that as I had in my head an expectation of results already.
Has anyone else faced this?

Oddly one of the easiest Yes I've experienced in a while

Exploring Gender identity and Sexual Identity has been something I'm proud to say I'm happy I've kept an open mind around and I'm 95% sure I will have a vagina as a cis Gendered male within the next two years. I would consider myself altersex since intersex seems more from birth.

I'm looking for more questions to ask myself to ensure I'm making a good decision so I'm asking the community about their experiences and recommendations. What did you ask yourself or what were you thinking about as you made you transition?

My current thoughts:

I'm absolutely thrilled at the idea and I've been hard all day thinking about it. I think pleasuring myself alone would be such a fun and growing experience cause sheesh 😮‍💨. I thought about it for a while and I don't think I'll really miss my penis, especially since I'll still be able to masturbate. I'm gay and I've never really been a top and tbh I don't wanna be.

I'm going to save some of my sperm and freeze it as a just in case. While I'm certain it will affect my dating prospects, I'm not concerned. I'm lovable because I love me 😌.

I think Im just so incredibly turned on by the thought of myself with a vagina. It think it would be awesome af. 😭 Lol I'm just so excited. I also really like the idea of still being my masculine self. I know I'll have to take hormones for the rest of my life but that's fine. I feel like I'll slowly become more androgenous as I age anyways.

I have a question

Hello!
I'm very new to being genderfluid (at least I'm pretty sure I am) and I have a general question.

It might be more for the transmasc community but I thought I'd ask here!
I'll try to be technical in my terms but I don't know much about the topic (I just haven't had the time to do research besides a few websites so bare with me haha).

So... I like my body the way it is (I'm AFAB) but sometimes I really wish I had a working penis. I've considered surgery (not anytime soon, just in the future) and I have a packer that I wear every now and then (which helps) but I was wondering if anyone felt the same way?

I'm worried if I do get surgery (in the future) I'll have to go on testosterone and it will make my body look different. I also just don't know if it's possible to get that kind of surgery and keep everything down there mostly the same (Like literally just attach a working penis to the nerves that exist there). I know about phalloplasty (I think that's the right one?). But I was hoping I could hear from someone with first hand experience.

I'm probably just overthinking everything to much (since this would be way later in life) but I was also wondering if anyone else feels this way?

It's like I want to be all the genders but being femme or masc comes and goes no matter what gender affirming things I'm wearing. If any of that makes sense

Also if anyone has any tips on hiding big boobs in clothes to be more masc PLEASE share I have a binder but it feels like it doesn't do anything. But I don't want to get top surgery or a reduction because I like them when I'm feeling more femme! It feels so confusing sometimes (;´∀`)

If only I could shape shift 😔

How is a clitoris made?

So, i have been wondering, if you get a penile preserving vaginoplasty, how do you make the clitoris. Like, you can't take the nerves from the penis, bcs that stays. And from where would you take all the nerves then?

Sorry if this has been asked already.

how to hide/minimize dick presence during vaginal/receiving sex?

i go back and forth between wanting to have a penis only, wanting to have a vagina only, and wanting both, and for this reason i plan to have PPV. i imagine functioning during sex while acknowledging and using the penis but not the vagina is easy, but i have been challenged in thinking of ways to conceal or tuck away the penis without clothing on (or limited clothing, like sex-designed lingerie type stuff) to acknowledge and use the vagina without the penis. i also have a larger than average dick, so it has quite a presence when erect. (for reference, i plan to have my surgically constructed vagina be located right under my penis, where my testicles currently are)

is there a garment designed to help with this? like maybe panties with a tight pocket on the stomach area to hold the dick? something like that? i am aware of chastity cages but that's not what i'm looking for. any tricks to help with this problem are appreciated :)

edit: thank you all so much for the information! i did not expect this much attention. i’m a virgin and very inexperienced/unaware when it comes to most of the stuff that’s being recommended in the comments, so i don’t entirely even know what a lot of you are talking about and am having a hard time visualizing it, but when i want to explore this part of my life more in-depth i’ll remember to come back to this post for resources. i’m not gonna respond to most of the comments because there are a lot and like i said i‘m having trouble following some of them but please know i am so grateful for every single one! <3

Hey everyone, I got my surgery scheduled!!! But, I need advice on dilators

Hey everyone, I(33GQ) just got my PPV scheduled, and was told by the office about overnight dilators, and we(DID) have ADHD and some sort of sleep disorder that is currently undiagnosed.

Our question is this. What brands only Dilator do you suggest, and have you heard of overnight dilators? (Our surgeon, Dr. Gurjala mentioned them)

TIA!!!

Question about HRT requirements for SRS

Hello!

I'm a nonbinary person who deals with intense genital dysphoria. However since my country doesn't acknowledge nonbinary identities I can't get the clearance for sex corrective surgeries, and I'll probably die before my country acknowledges nonbinary identities, but I can dream as a treat, you know.

I peeped around a little regarding surgeries. I keep my peeping to a minimum as to not upset myself, as not being able to access medical care more than upsets me, and I get feelings that are embarassing for my age. Besides my genitals, I don't have body dysphoria, so general HRT is useless for the alleviation of my dysphoria, may in fact intensify it even. My voice is another thing I'm dysphoric about though, apparently I can get localized T injections directly into my vocal chords for my voice to deepen it, apparently it's still something experimental?... I would like to voice train alongside treatment, but voice training without treatment is hard and perhaps not possible with my Alvin and the Chipmunks voice.

Per my light peeping, it seems even the most accepting centers won't do sex corrective surgeries without HRT. I know many nonbinary people pretend to be binary to navigate the system, but I'm neither transfem or transmasc nor can I pretend to be one, I don't want to end up giving myself more dysphoria in the process of alleviating it. And I do mean most accepting, they acknowledge nonbinary identities for starters, they will do bottom surgery even if you haven't had top surgery yet, and salmacian-adjacent options will be available, but you strictly have to be on HRT for it. Is this standard or not? Would localized HRT treatments even count towards clearance in these cases? I suppose this changes per country and per state if you live in a country like that, but this upset me.

I noticed the wiki mention that no, you don't need HRT for surgeries. It hasn't been updated in a while though. Did the recent political climate make the medical field more conservative? For example, my country has started needing transsexual diagnoses for fucking mastectomy in recent years. Are/were you like me? How are/did you navigating/navigate this? Thanks in advance.
