Any insight would be appreciated, because I might have goofed…

**Edit/Update**

Thank you everyone for the input and insight!!! It was exactly what we had hoped to hear, so we’re excited to go that week! No more worries, no fears, no regrets, and no pants! (Guess which is my favorite? 😆)

So wife and I have been to Hedo x2 in ‘22 and ‘23, and absolutely loved it. Life has kept us from getting back home, but we were able to find a week (not Sat-Sat) that actually worked with our schedules. We had been bouncing back and forth, looking for dates our preferred room was available, which groups were there at the time, etc…so many factors.

After going through a dozen or so possible weeks, we found one that worked (that wasn’t a year+ out) so I jumped and booked it. And then I realized I had forgotten to cross reference the groups. 😑

We were a little leery of going in Jan because we’re just now exploring our boundaries with an upcoming visit to the Scarlett Ranch, and I was worried about potential gatekeeping during “Lifestyle Month” (because the drama around who/what is LS, swingers, etc is not something I want to deal with). But it worked for our schedule, we might be more open by then…etc. In short, it became a January problem. 😆 All I cared about was getting a trip in the books.

So *after* I book, I cross referenced and it’s the Naughty Gym takeover (I booked through Hedo, and not through the group). We have zero problems with being there at the same time, but a quick review of our posts and you’ll see while we’re relatively HWP, we aren’t exactly “gym people”. I know everyone is welcome, and all the groups we’ve overlapped with have been amazing and I have no reason to think this group will be any different.

We really don’t want to switch, but part of the freedom for us is blending in with all the different body types - not to mention our interest in potentially playing with others. I’ve looked for reviews/comments/posts about the group and the few I’ve seen have been positive, but anecdotal and not necessarily applicable to our situation.

One of our favorite things about the place is the acceptance, but when it cones to a group focused so much on fitness it’s hard to keep the regular life insecurities from creeping into this, and I’m not worried about people being rude or disrespectful…I guess I’m concerned we just won’t be a good fit for the overlapping part of our stay (5 of the 7 days). We’d love to trim down and be all sorts of in shape for the trip, but at best we might be able to trim 5-10 lbs off…becoming “gym people” between now and then really isn’t an option, as much as I wish it could be)

Has anyone else overlapped with them and/or can anyone who goes with the group offer some insight?

To summarize in a *humorous* self-deprecating way:

TL/DR: chubby husband books trip with curvy wife during fitness takeover, will we run afoul of an unwritten “no fatties” rule?

Excited for our first trip in June! Real question though…

I paid up our membership and got the receipt in my email, but when I went to book a cabana it asked for our membership number, which doesn’t appear to be in my receipt email. I’ve sent a couple emails to the address on the website but haven’t heard anything back.

Do any regulars have any suggestions? Appreciate it in advance! (Including a pic of us as eye candy and apologies for such a boring question 😜)

Planning a weekend trip to Denver next month and we’re going to visit the Ranch…

We’ve been to Hedo a couple times, but are still slowly working up to playing with others. We don’t have any expectations for our weekend trip to Denver other than feeling sexy. enjoying each other, meeting new friends and seeing where the nights take us. We’re open and friendly, but likely a little shy in person. We’ve read the community briefing and will definitely be taking the tour.

If you see us, feel free to say hi and please be gentle! 🤣
