Those on Long Island do u work on Long Island or commute to city

Ive never worked in NYC, currently on a contract with my vanilla job on long island. Ive worked one club out here and its ok but giving dive bar. Im more of a gentlemens club type, havent tried Gossip so considering maybe that but also wanting to go to city despite the big commute. Any girls make the commute or do you stick on the island?

whos worked this night? I've avoided drinking holidays in the past but considering it. But also considering making tacos & having a bonfire and working tmrw night instead. I attempted one cinco in the club before and it was a drunken shit show.

I'm curious how many full time dancers vs part time/partly vanilla dancers we have on here. And if you do work vanilla, whats the reason? Stability, benefits, resume experience etc? If you dont, equally as curious as to why. More personal time, freedom, need a flexible schedule etc?

I feel I have always kept a foot in the vanilla world. Just to keep my resume "fresh", to not depend on sw entirely for my income/less stress in that regard... yet. I'm getting to a point where it truly feels counterproductive in a sense to work vanilla part time with dancing. I know this is not the ideal economy to only dance, but I also feel I will have more energy to pour into my shifts if I'm not also expending energy for my day job. Which is an office job, so not draining necessarily- at least physically. My day job alone isnt enough to cover expenses tho. It pretty much just pays my rent.

Curious to hear perspectives on both sides...
