Watching a movie while withdrawing is a very unique experience.

Watching a movie or even reading a book while withdrawing from opiates can feel like an otherworldly experience. ESPECIALLY if it’s a really dark or depressing movie. Your emotional response feels like it gets dialed up to a 100 and it can be very easy to get completely immersed in what you are looking at. If any of you out there are withdrawing and need something to watch, the movie, Heaven Knows What, is a super good addiction movie that most people havnt seen. If addiction movies make you uncomfortable then this one definitely isn’t for you but it’s based the true story of a friendgroup of homeless heroin addicts in New York during the early to mid 2000s.
