So I've been thinking. Many drugs cause rapid tolerance they replace a neurotransmitter or a peptide and attach to a receptor. For example heroin attaches to opioid receptors acting as a hyper potent chemical form of endorphins. But meth does none of that, it's not an agonist. What meth does is releases more of your already stored, natural dopamine. It doesn't attach to any receptor, just helps your dopamine be used correctly. So shouldn't there not be any tolerance because meth just makes you use your natural dopamine helping you reach your full potential?
