Question for SW - how much discussion in advance ?
On the main SW reddit, I saw a thread from a provider who was unhappy that the client was trying to "pin down" what her service entailed in a text conversation beforehand. I mean, the euphemistic terms in her profile strongly hinted at HJ to me, but the client kept trying to clarify that is definitely what she was going to do, and she didn't want to have to spell it out in case it got her into legal trouble, so she cancelled. I think she was in USA, and can imagine there's conservative states where law enforcement attempt to entrap people like that.
That approach from a client can also come across like trying to push boundaries for extras or to haggle, so i get why its wrong. And if this was a civvie, like some X or FWB or someone you met on an app, you'd not dream of trying to discuss in advance what sort of sex you want to do before a meet !
On the other hand, many workers have quite a large range and quite a lot of them aren't things I'm into so.. they surely don't expect you to just book a time and then have that conversation when you get there? If you're new to this kind of thing, that's a big ask !
In the UK it seems the platform people use is AdultWork. So I guess, your first message asks if you can book them, and explains that you're new to this type of thing and don't have many miles on the odometer. If she replies in the affirmative, you can indicate a preferred direction of travel by hinting at one of the activites on her "likes" list without "spelling it out". I guess this all requires knowing how to read the room, which isn't my strongest ability..
