Decided to wait longer than I’d like to schedule Stage 2

In the grand scheme of things it really isn’t a big deal, but I decided I’m going to wait until January to have my second stage completed. That would consist of having my scrotum finished and any revisions that need to happen (I think they’re going to try to release things a bit more which would be awesome). My reasoning is two fold: I’ve already taken a lot of time off work and we’re approaching our busy season, and I don’t think it’s worth the stress to recover during the holiday season.

I’m really just feeling impatient. Stage one has already relieved a lot of dysphoria, but I’m so eager to have balls. It’s one of the things I’ve been most excited for, so having to postpone the process is rough. That said, I am very happy with how things have gone so far, and I’ll probably start pumping soon to help with the scar tissue.

Excited to be part of the club

I’m ftm and 6 weeks post op my first stage of bottom surgery, and have been very eager to show off my new lil’ cock. I decided to keep all my holes, since I’m too much of a bottom to lose any. Hopefully y’all enjoy the “set up” as much as I do 😝

Balls coming soon

5 Weeks Post Op w/ Dr. Hadj-Moussa

I decided to take some “soft vs hard” comparison photos for funsies since I’m feeling healed enough to lightly experiment. I don’t necessarily recommend this, but I decided it was worth the risk since I only got simple release, stage one of scrotoplasty, and monsplasty. That said, do as I say, not as I do.

I had my final post op appointment for stage one which went great, and I’m waiting to get on the books for stage two. Dr. HM told me I’m a good healer, which was very encouraging, and we discussed what stage two will look like. I expressed concern over still feeling/looking pretty tethered, and my dick looking like it’s got a bit of a crease in it putting the shaft at an odd angle, but she reassured me that those things will be fixed in stage two. “Trust the process,” still remains my mantra. We both agreed that doing testicular implants as a separate third stage was the way to go as my scrotal sac is on the smaller side. This way it will have time to heal, and will decrease the likelihood of rejection. She also mentioned that she tends to have a 25% revision rate with the implants due to the nature of the beast. Because U of M only approves of saline implants (they are FDA approved), it means she can’t tether them like you could with silicone and they are prone to shifting. While this sounds annoying, it also doesn’t worry me. She also prescribed me estrogen cream to help with my atrophy/increased irritation due to more exposure, which seems to be helping.

All that said, I’m extremely happy with how things are looking. I can see Dr. HM’s vision, and it makes me excited for stage two/three. I love how my scrotum is coming together, and just find everything to be adorable in an endearing way. My partner also agrees, which is wonderful. I’m hoping the implants will give me a bit more of a tiny bulge in underwear, but only time will tell. I would love to have the moment of having the waistband of my boxers/briefs brushing over my balls, so I’m crossing my fingers. I’m extremely grateful with how everything has been going, and the support I’ve gotten from my friends, family, and especially this community. Honestly, it’s been a godsend ♥️

1 month post op!

I finally hit 1 month post op (simple+mons+scroto, no UL or V-nect) and I’m very happy with how things are looking. I’m still swollen, but things are way more settled now than they were 2 weeks ago. Having so much time on my hands makes it difficult not to ruminate on how things are healing. I had a couple higher anxiety days where I was thinking I might need to get phallo, and I began to stress over how much extra work that surgery will be. While I totally could still pursue phallo, at least for now I was able remind myself how that I don’t even have a complete scrotum yet, and to once again “trust the process”. The swelling going down has played a huge role in how I feel about my dick, and how optimistic I feel about my goals for meta.

Physically things appear to be healing well for the most part. I have a couple stitches to the left side of my shaft and in my mons incision, but they don’t seem to be an issue right now. There’s what looks like a tiny “skin” tag on the same side of my shaft as the stitches, but that could just be really weird swelling. It doesn’t hurt or appear to be bleeding, and I can get it removed during stage 2 if needed. My >!vaginal!< opening has been pretty inflamed and uncomfortable, and I’m not sure if it’s atrophy or some sort of yeast infection/BV. Either way, I don’t have any interest in using that hole any time soon until I figure that out. I also believe there is some stitching around that area from when Dr. Hadj Moussa created the scrotal sac, so it may just be over stressed for now.

All in all, things are going well! My mental health has been a little touch and go, but nothing unmanageable, and my body is doing a solid job at repairing itself

Week 3 Post Op Stage 1

A little progress update now that I’m 3 weeks post stage 1 (simple release, monsplasty, stage one scrotoplasty, no UL, no v-nect). Swelling has definitely gone down and the lil guy is starting to look more like a penis. However, the fact that it still looks fairly similar to my pre op anatomy when standing is giving me some dysphoria. I’m hoping as the swelling settles the shaft will move a bit further forward cuz right now I can’t really tell where the base is. That said, I noticed my dick will lean to one side or the other depending on what way my body is angled while I’m lying down, which is super exciting and euphoric. I also enjoy the way the scrotal sac is looking while lying down. All in all healing is going smoothly for the most part, but mentally it’s definitely a bit of a roller coaster.

Looking for some reassurance/reminders

I’m 1.5 weeks post op stage 1 (simple release, first part of scrotoplasty, monsplasty, no v-nec, no UL), and I’ve been very lucky in how smooth my recovery has been. Aside from needing help with certain ranges of motion and lifting more than 15lbs, I’m largely independent. I still have some mild discomfort, but I haven’t needed any pain medication for a few days. I’m a little more easily tired than usual, but I feel like I have a surprising amount of energy. The biggest issue I’m having is my mental health since I have a lot more time with my thoughts (yay), and bodies can’t tell the difference between elective and non elective physical trauma.

I’m happy with how things are looking given where I’m at, but I’m fighting off anxiety around how visible my shaft is. I feel like it’s still tethered and tucked away, but I’m trying to remind myself it’s because I’m swollen. I think I’ve gotten in my head from seeing other post op guys whose penises are more visible even with swelling. I’m worried that once the swelling goes down, I’ll still look like I did pre op (completely concealed while standing). Any encouragement/reminders would be greatly appreciated!

I cannot explain how euphoric I feel

Today marks my first full week post stage one. On May 6th, I went to U of M to complete my first stage of meta (simple release, scrotoplasty & monsplasty, no UL or vaginectomy) with Dr. Hadj-Moussa. This consisted of simple release, monsplasty, and the start of the scrotoplasty.

I was sent home with a Foley catheter, which was finally removed today, and this was the first time I’ve actually gotten to explore my post op body. The catheter was extremely irritating, so it was very nerve-wracking to feel around the area while it was still in place. After I got home from my appointment I went to take a shower and it all really settled in. I can’t believe I have a scrotum and that I can actually see my dick in the mirror! Previously it was pretty hidden when standing, so the view has me absolutely over the moon.

Obviously I’m still pretty swollen, but I hope the shaft comes out more as things settle down (even though the lil’ head peakin’ out is kinda adorable tbh). That said, I’m so fucking happy
