Awkward rejection.... vent?
Met this really cute guy on Grindr and we decided to meet up. I want to preface by saying, Its the end of the summer and I've been celibate for many, many months.
Anywaysss... we met up and the guy acted really nervous and weird, in which I called him out for it with his reply being, "You're gorgeous, don't get me wrong, but you're wayyyy too tall for me."
I wasn't offended, if anything I giggled and said, "Aren't you 6'5? Im 7 inches shorter than you (5'10)"
And he replied back with, "Yea, but I normally go for guys like 5'7 or shorter." In which I said good luck and got out of there. He later then texted me on Grindr and said he messed up and should have gotten to know me at least cause I was his type to a tea and I just blocked him. Im a little too secure with myself to have a guy be this weird and hesitant about this kinda stuff. Was I wrong?
