Advice needed on maximum future flexibility yet plausibly vanilla scaffold pole configuration
I’m building a scaffold pipe (48.3mm) cuboid approx 3.5m wide by 2.2m high ostensibly as an outdoor hammock stand. See diagram.
At one end I want to have the configuration as shown in photo 1 where there are fixed poles (the outline shape) and movable poles and fixings within that.
I would like to have the most flexibility to add poles and fixings (ie coming out from the fixed frame) but keep the number of fixings to what is needed so that it looks as inconspicuous and vanilla as possible.
I drafted an example (see photo 2) and found that I added so many fixings to give flexibility for mounting scaffold planks (cut down with lugs to fit the pipes that would be coming out from fixings and pipes on the main frame) for example to lay the receiving partner onto and then have pipes to take their legs or fixing points to simulate a St Andrews Cross or other furniture such as bondage / spanking / hogtie / milking / submission / punishment stockade, horse, bench, table, stoop restraint, mating press supports etc) that it looked too industrial / cluttered and like a BDSM or scaffolders trade convention exhibit!
What’s the smallest set of fixings in what configuration (how many of each / where) would be needed to give the most flexibility to build whatever pipe configuration - some examples in photo 3 - (coming out from the fixed elements but also using what’s there if relevant) one could dream of (see your favourite online sites for examples, not just made from pipe) but still look relatively uncluttered / a bit vanilla - as if I just went a bit mad and put some extra fittings in haphazardly. 😉🤔😊
[ PS I drew the mating press position in Photo 3 wrong - the right hand board support should come off the middle vertical so that the penetrating partner can stand close enough to the receiver but their legs still be supported. ]

Of course other parts of the pipe cuboid will be able to be used to support swings / sex swings / Raised fixing points for arms and to restrain lovers etc.
