First, a huge thank you to the mods for being so welcoming and for inviting me to introduce our little corner of Reddit here. I’ve spent some time exploring this community, and I really appreciate what you’re cultivating around audio erotica as something that can be not only hot, but supportive, connective, and genuinely meaningful in the way we experience our sexuality. There’s a lot of shared ground between that mission and what inspired me to create FGA.

I’m Enhé, creator/mod of r/FemaleGazeAudios, a listener-centered community dedicated to finding, celebrating, and now creating (N)SFW audio intentionally through the female gaze.

So.. what do we mean by “female gaze”?

We have a much fuller definition HERE, but the short version is that we look for content where desire feels mutual, consent is clear, pleasure matters, and the listener is treated as a participant rather than a prop. Audios with emotional and erotic attunement. Masculinity that can be powerful without requiring emotional distance. Intimacy that can be tender, playful, ravenous, dominant, vulnerable, comforting.. sometimes several of those things at once.

FGA actually began because I’m one of the listeners whose life was unexpectedly changed by audio erotica.
Soon after I wanted to enthusiastically shove this wonderful discovery into the hands (or headphones 😏) of other women.. but I kept hesitating.

As someone who experienced SA, I was very aware that much of the freely accessible erotic audio landscape contains themes I wouldn’t necessarily feel comfortable sending an unsuspecting friend into. And knowing how many women carry their own complicated histories with sex, intimacy, desire, or their bodies, I kept wishing there were a freely accessible place I could send someone with a certain level of trust that what they found there had been chosen with their experience in mind.

So eventually I thought.. why not build it?

That became Female Gaze Audios.

🍽️ What's on the menu?

We don't take ourselves too seriously over there, so somewhere along the way FGA developed an increasingly elaborate food problem.

Our featured audios become part of the Girl Dinner Menu, but importantly, I don't get to unilaterally decide what counts as female gaze.

Every featured audio goes through a community Taste Test poll. Listeners vote on whether it actually delivered on the female-gaze qualities we talk about, creating an ongoing feedback loop between the philosophy and the people actually listening.

And the audios that receive particularly enthusiastic community approval? They earn an FGA Michelin Star⭐🎧

It’s silly and fun.. but underneath the food puns is something I care about quite a lot: letting listeners help define what erotic media made with them in mind can actually look, sound, and feel like.

🧑‍🍳 And now.. we've opened the Test Kitchen.

This is probably the experiment I’m most excited about.
The FGA Test Kitchen asks: instead of only searching for female-gaze audios after it has already been made, what happens if listeners are invited into the creative process from the very beginning?

We start with a story concept and open the Community Pantry, where listeners can anonymously submit their own “Mystery Ingredients”: a trope, line, tiny intimate detail, fantasy, dynamic, sensory moment, emotional beat, kink, piece of characterization.. whatever they would genuinely love to hear brought to life.

The community gets to react and vote. Then we hand that pantry to a participating writer, who gets full creative freedom to interpret, combine, reinvent, or leave ingredients behind while crafting an original script.
Eventually, that script makes its way to a VA and becomes a free, publicly accessible audio.

So rather than simply asking “What do women want?” from the outside, we're experimenting with giving listeners a seat at the creative table and letting them tell us.

And I have to pause here for an enormous thank you to our very first Kitchen “cook,” u/Hopscotch-Banana4795, who has been the most wonderful creative collaborator while we’ve built this thing from scratch, tested the recipe, and worked out what belongs in the pantry versus what might set the kitchen on fire😂💛

They’ve been writing our first Test Kitchen creations, a multi-chapter romance called “Next Stop, You.” and will soon be sharing the completed Kitchen scripts here in this community as well. So keep an eye out for those soon!

A little about the human behind all of this..

I’ve been an AE listener for several years now, and what began as something fun and spicy to explore ended up opening a much larger door for me.

That journey helped inspire me to return to school this year and pursue work in sexuality and sex therapy. In many ways, FGA and that path are branches of the same larger focus: helping more women reconnect with, explore, and expand their erotic selves in ways that feel safe enough to be wild.

I’m endlessly fascinated by what becomes possible when women aren't simply treated as the audience for erotic media, but as people whose interiority, fantasies, nervous systems, pleasure, contradictions, and desires are worth building the experience around.

So whether you're a listener looking for more intentional and attuned audio, someone who simply wants to support the rising tide of female-gaze erotic media, a writer curious about creating within that lens, or a VA wondering what your voice could bring to something like the Test Kitchen.. there's a seat for you at the table💛

I’m the creator&mod behind r/femalegazeaudios, a listener-centered AE community focused on exploring what erotic audio can look and feel like when it’s intentionally created through the female gaze.. with mutual desire, attunement, agency, consent, emotional texture, and yes, plenty of spice 🌶️

More recently, I’ve been building something within FGA that I’m especially excited about: the FGA Test Kitchen.

The idea is to make the creative writing process itself more collaborative.

Rather than a writer disappearing into a room and returning with a finished script, we invite the listener community into the process from the beginning. A scenario is chosen, then community members contribute their own “mystery ingredients”.. little moments, dynamics, lines, kinks, emotional beats, or details they would genuinely love to hear brought to life in an audio.

From there, a writer takes those ingredients and uses them as inspiration to build an original story and script, while still retaining full creative control over how everything comes together.

Once the script is complete, the goal is for it to eventually become a fully performed audio that stays free and publicly available for listeners.

I’ll be using this account to share Test Kitchen scripts as they’re completed, connect with writers and VAs, and hopefully learn from everyone here as this little experiment continues to grow.
