Anyone else like this? I keep coming up with these cool ideas — lots of fun scene changes, plot and character — but then, after I’ve done all the prep work and finally arrived at the sex, I just blank. I tried microplanning the scene like I do the rest of my scripts, but that didn’t help. I just feel like when I start to write the sex, it devolves into something too generic for everything that came before. I lose all sense of character and continuity and it just feels bland. Really sucks writing 2k~ worth of stuff you like and then hitting a wall. How do you keep narrative interest going through the sex scene? Can’t figure it out.

A while back I wrote a 'Puppyboy or Catboy' script, and someone said I should make a 'Bunny boy' script to balance it out, and that was a good idea. So I did.

Summary: You've always been a quiet person, having grown up in a large family with more... 'traditional' values and ridged traditions, that has made it difficult to connect with others sometimes. As much as I love writing, I have never written a script before and the idea overwhelms me a bit since i do not know where to start. I would love to hear your advice on scriptwriting, as well as how you find inspiration and ideas!!

I ask this cause I'm wondering if VAs when looking for script to work on from script writers actually like complex and unique scripts here.

Like for example,say a VA finds a script that has complexities regarding what SFXs the script writer wanted to see happen from their script.

Like wanting three sound effects to play in a specific order that's all in one bracket. Or a long over 1000/2000 words script with a lot of moving parts in it.

Something to those kinds of scripts especially ones related to sports here too.

So I'm just curious if VAs like those kinds of scripts or do they prefer something more simple and familiar here?

Let me know cause I wonder how do VAs from here and GWA feel about such scripts like these.

I recently added a new feature to scriptbin based on a site I saw that showed when posts happened in GWA and the question of when to post a script.

On the Views page, which can be found linked in the section of one of your public scripts where it says "Views: x", or otherwise linked from the about page, there is now a section 📊 Distribution of views during the week which can be opened.

It shows a heatmap indicating when in time most views happen. Cells with a more intense color have more views registered, cells with no or a very dim color have almost no views registered.

The heatmap looks at all views registered in the past 14 days. Two heatmaps are shown, one for all scripts that views are recorded for (no matter how recent or old), one only for scripts that got their first views within the 14 day period.

This does not exactly correspond to "views for scripts that were just posted", which is hard to pin down in this way, since a script posted 13 days ago will contribute views for 13 days. But it may still be useful in trying to pin down when views happen, and correspond roughly to when new scripts are being read, which may help in deciding when to post scripts.

(As a reminder, views are only registered for scripts that are marked as publicly listed.)

Hey, I mostly operate in the erotic hypnosis space, but I do write a truckload of scripts and many of them cross over well with regular erotic audio - roleplay scenarios, sexy scenes, not just direct hypnosis content.

I record almost all of them for myself, but I'm wondering if there's any etiquette around sharing them to be filled by others too? Would it be pointless if I've already done it, even if my stuff hits probably a quite different audience (super niche hypnosis fans).

More recently, I’ve been building something within FGA that I’m especially excited about: the FGA Test Kitchen.

The idea is to make the creative writing process itself more collaborative.

Rather than a writer disappearing into a room and returning with a finished script, we invite the listener community into the process from the beginning. A scenario is chosen, then community members contribute their own “mystery ingredients”.. little moments, dynamics, lines, kinks, emotional beats, or details they would genuinely love to hear brought to life in an audio.

From there, a writer takes those ingredients and uses them as inspiration to build an original story and script, while still retaining full creative control over how everything comes together.

Once the script is complete, the goal is for it to eventually become a fully performed audio that stays free and publicly available for listeners.

I’ll be using this account to share Test Kitchen scripts as they’re completed, connect with writers and VAs, and hopefully learn from everyone here as this little experiment continues to grow.

I am an aspiring writer, I want to go professional but right now it’s just a hobby! I was inspired by a certain script to dabble in script writing. I never done script writing, so far I just have written a bunch of short story either from a character POV or a Narrator! At least when it come to my erotic writing anyway!
