Breaking off some pieces 🏔️

Last week I posted a picture of the outside surfaces, which weren't shiny enough for some. Here's a shot of some fresh inner surfaces.

🎩 - Newest Batch of Soft - Results from 1g cook

0.870-0.871g hard from 0.999-1.001g soft.

0.997g soft shown for reference.

So that works out to around 97.4% of the maximum theoretical cookback.

Won’t have lab results until beginning of September.

OK, it seems like there might be a need for some clarification here.

The color of this stuff is wild

New cook of some yellowish (buttery?) stuff

I’m probably going to rerock it after I dry and weigh this. The foam is bright white but once the water comes back and it separates this stuff never turns into an oil before it rocks up like this. I tried to keep heating so it would get more oily or at least gooey but the water started to boil and I didn’t want to lose liquid.

For those who say the yellow stuff can’t be found anymore, here’s a new batch next to a previous, white batch.

I still have to get it tested, and to be honest it’s not bad but I haven’t yet decided whether it’s worse, the same, or better. I have a feeling I’ll decide it’s not better, but I might be proven wrong by the labs. Wait and see.
