Howdy folks just need a pair of ears for testing something. My recording space is the opposite of ideal. Without getting into to many details the key issue is a small and then large fish tank just a few feet to my left. I can turn them off for short periods but given how long recording then re-recording to fix things, and edits, and such it's not a good idea for the tanks. This means that at higher volumes I can hear my fish tanks in the background. However when I listen at what I consider a comfortable level, even with a bit of a bad right ear so I turn up the volume a bit, I can't hear them. If you wouldn't mind please listen to the SFW sample of me recording for checking to see if Audacity's noise suppression tool is sufficient to reduce the sound to a non-noticeable level for most listeners. Please and thank you in advance to whoever takes the time.
