I just got the idea to start making my own diaper tapes, but after looking around online didn't find much customizable artwork to work with. Isn't it crazy that some people charge you money to download their digital files, too?

If I'm making my own tapes, I figured I would make truly authentic ones based on actual diapers from the past. I've started tracing diaper landing zone designs in vector format, and would like to offer them as a gift to you all, for free. You'll see that I'm giving them a real "ink bleed" look, with a slight printer-misalignment effect on the older ones; real attention to detail, to make something truly authentic. But hey, if you don't like that, you can edit them any way you want!

So, the ODAL (Open Diaper Art Library) is born! I'll be offering these vector files on our Discord channel, and it'd be great to get some help collecting reference images and tracing the origin of these designs back to the original make and models. If any of you are collectors, some clear full-width scans would be awesome; I've only been working from stuff found online and correcting poor quality in the photography as I go. Artists of course are also more than welcome to help build this collection!

Let's compile a one-stop shop of free, vectorized, authentic imagery from diapers of the past for any use that the user sees fit: https://discord.gg/JNXPgDjSZw
