My friend hooked up with someone at the bar last night. Would it be reasonable to ask them to get tested before we move forward with the plan?
A little backstory leading up to now: I first brought up the fantasy sometime last year, and she was completely against it at the time, so I accepted that it probably wouldn’t happen. We did experiment a little during foreplay and used a dildo a couple of times, but nothing beyond that.

While we waited for his reply, we took a shower, and when he finally texted back, I mentioned Wednesday as a possibility. She said that felt way too soon, which led to a deeper conversation about what was holding her back. A lot of it came down to body image and another concern, but we talked through everything. I made it clear that we didn’t have to do anything if she wasn’t truly comfortable with it. She told me she actually does like the idea, and eventually said we could plan for the 25th instead.
