how come some days, my dose hits me like a truck. while other days, i hardly feel anything?

theres gotta be something that factors into this, i know lack of sleep will do it FOR SURE, but is there anything else? like diet? or placing it under the tongue vs cheeking it?

the other night i was so eff'd up that i thought the strip i took was more concentrated than the others, which i know couldn't be the case but damn

those who've gotten clean with suboxone, and later returned to use .. is it true that subs "fry" your receptors?

if so, how long did you take them? does it even matter the duration? did it ever return to "normal"?

i've heard a few stories of people who claim that after taking suboxone for 5-10 years, opioids no longer have the same effects. i understand that suboxone binds strongly to receptors, but im also hearing that it changes the structure of receptors altogether?!

sobriety has treated me well, but i do not intend on being sober for the rest of my life. i wish i was more knowledgeable on the downsides of suboxone before i got myself dependent on them. the dental problems, hormone irregularities, emotional numbness and now this??!

(my intentions with this post is not to dissuade others from using suboxone or any other form or MAT. it did save my life, and its arguably better/safer than illicit drugs. but me personally, i think its time to get off this shit)
