I’ve been dancing for a couple years and I’m honestly struggling (emotionally) with doing it full time.

When I had a vanilla bartending/serving gig AND dancing a couple days a week, I was having the most fun because I wasn’t ONLY dancing- and my other job was also at night so there was no interruption to my sleeping schedule.

Now that I’m dancing full time, it’s really catching up to me. Some weeks I’m making great money and having fun, but other weeks I hate my fucking life and feel so disturbed by men’s behaviour.

I want a 9-5 but I’m also not willing to give up dancing 100% because the weekend money is just too good.

How hard is it to manage a day job with stripping? if you do this how many nights do you go to the club?

It doesn’t happen to me often but it happened this night unexpectedly. It soaked through the bandana I use as a barrier. And he tried to argue and claim he didn’t know he came ?!

I tried to get him to pay me an extra hundred on top of the amount he already owed but my manager told me I can’t charge extra for that. :(

My customer is a 60 year old white man who loves Aespa and Blackpink lol. I make a bag every time he comes to the club but he wants me to dance to K pop on stage every time.

My club is haunted af! There have been two deaths in the club and two girls died in the dancer apartment next door. it’s also a superrrr old building, that has been a strip club since 1980.

Lots of girls have paranormal experiences like seeing figures and being touched (even groped!) when no one is there. However, lots of girls are also a little unstable/drunk/high and their own paranoia is probably feeding into it.

I have this best friend of 8 years who will not stop bringing up how much she hates that I am a stripper. She’s gone down this trad-catholic hole in the past year and has become a totally different person. she apparently fears for my soul, thinks that I’m a bad person for being a dancer, no man will take me seriously (i’m in a serious relationship actually), and keeps talking about how “she would never do something like strip” and can’t imagine how I’m able to do it.

Apparently ME being a stripper has caused issues in her relationship, as her boyfriend doesn’t want her to hang out with a “whore who pops her pussy open every night” (yeah he actually said this, and she felt the need to tell me for some reason), and he’s been pressuring her to stop being friends with me which she’s been considering.

I have plenty of other friends but this relationship is sentimental to me. She’s constantly telling me about how much she hates what I do, but she still initiates plans to hang out all the time? Idk, i’m confused.

Initially, I wasn’t going to describe my whole situation since I am looking for advice based on your experiences and not necessarily responses to my own. But i appreciate any advice, I don’t really know how to handle this
