Kind of an embarrassing post...

I'm curious if anyone else has ever had experience with molluscum contagiosum, and how it affected their chastity.

For those not aware: molluscum is a viral infection that causes small red, raised bumps or blisters on the skin. It can appear almost anywhere on the body but is considered an STI when it appears in the genital region. It's mostly benign, but is unsightly and contagious (as the name implies). Untreated it'll usually go away in 6-12 months. Treating with topical cream will make it go away sooner. You can also get cryotherapy to remove the bumps.

I've been dealing with this for about 2 months now, treating it with creams for 1, have a dermatologist appointment coming up. The bumps are on my upper groin and waist area, not on my actual genitals (though there's always a risk of spreading).

I've just recently become very excited about experimenting with more long term chastity. But now I'm worried that chastity might make the molluscum spread more (like to my actual genitals), or just interfere with healing in some way. Is this a legitimate concern?

I can't find ANY info on this online, so I would love to hear from people who have any first hand experience with this!

I don't have a keyholder, but I'm looking into ways that I could use an iOS app together with a smart lockbox to effectively be my own keyholder.

Curious to hear from anyone who does this what's worked for them. Any app recommendations? Lockbox recommendations? How does the whole system work? Like... how does the app interface with the lockbox? Do you need a special kind of lockbox? Or multiple apps?

Ideally I'd want something where I can set goals, track habits, give myself rewards & punishments, etc. But basic timing lock & unlock functionality (with emergency override) would also be enough. Ideally free, but I'm curious about paid options too.
