tell me the most irrational purchase, sacrifice, or send you’ve made or done because someone had power over your mind. i’m talking about the kind of decision you knew was embarrassing while you were doing it, but the attention, approval, or blackmail hold they had on you made it impossible to resist anyway. the more financially irresponsible, emotionally weak, or humiliating the story is, the more interested i am in hearing it.
