I've been selflocking for a while now, mostly using the chaster app for tracking and timing lockups. Recently I've been trying to go for longer. This week I was approaching my longest ever denial period (a whole 3 weeks waow) and I decided to add some spikes to my cage for the afternoon. So to get the spikes in, I have to unlock, move the two pieces of the cage apart while keeping my tip inside the tube part, slip the spike attachment into place, and then relock. This time, as I was trying to get the spikes into place, I started to get really hard, which doesn't normally happen when I'm locking up but I guess I got excited. After a few moments of forcing the cage back together, I felt an orgasm coming out of nowhere and had to let go. It was too late. I ended up cumming on myself with the cage part way on and the spikes digging in, which hurt like hell.

After, I felt disappointed in myself for losing control, disappointed that I ruined my own fun, and disappointed that I won't be breaking my record any time soon. I imagined that if I had a keyholder they'd be disappointed too. But this experience got me wondering:

How do people in a keyholding relationship treat an accidental orgasm? Is it a failure, a disappointment, not a big deal? How is the current session handled after? Do you cancel the next release, restart the timer, laugh about it and continue as normal, issue a punishment?
