How to talk to someone
So I (F) recently moved back to my hometown and decided to seriously give local events a try. I haven’t been to any formally labeled “munches” yet but I did reach out to this person (NB) who hosts a casual public get-together thing weekly. I went a few weeks ago but it was just us and we didn’t really talk much.
Fast forward a little, they said they’d still be happy to help if I have any questions or anything since I’m a newbie. They were really helpful and offered advice on how they usually navigate building a group they feel safe in within the community. Thing is, I find them attractive and would like to talk more and potentially see if they’d be interested in a dynamic with me (or just be friends idk) but I’m not sure if I’d be making them uncomfortable by asking.
If I’m being honest, I don’t know how to even approach that or if I should just let it be and forget about it lol. Part of me just wants to forget it because I’m scared of saying something wrong or getting rejected for whatever reason.
I do plan to attend some other local vanilla events in the near future but any advice appreciated, thanks!
