I meet a guy. We hit it off. We share general hobbies and interests. He has a cute dog. Is very respectful and safe, checks in with me, takes the safe word seriously. Everything is going great! We plan to meet up a second time. We’re texting today and he says something along the lines of “girls can’t do math”, I call bull. Bro says it’s “just statistics” and I say that if he’s really a data analyst he knows that statistics lie all the time and that a demographic disparity in higher ed math does not = girls bad at math. He also says to avoid the LGBTQ community because lesbians “hit each other”.
I tell him I don’t think it’s that simple but drop it. A few minutes later I’m blocked.
