I’ve recently been exploring findom as a new domme, and thought it would be a great idea to reach out the community in order to improve and get some tips.
Dommes and subs, I’d love to hear some of your thoughts! Below are some questions I’ve thought up, but I’m open to anything you want to share or feel is relevant.
- What platforms do you prefer to use, and why?
- What sort of content should I have on those platforms? Subs, what do you look for?
- Dommes, how did you discover and develop your niche/speciality/style?
- What are things that I should NOT do?
- What should happen/be discussed in the initial messages between a domme and sub?
- As a sub, how do you feel about interacting with new dommes? And if you have concerns or reservations, what could someone do to reassure you?
- Are there any resources/inspiration/role models that helped you to learn and improve in your early days?

(Edit: I should note that I’m new to Findom but not to the world of kink. That’s why I haven’t asked many questions about responsible dynamics/aftercare/consent and safety etc. I’m not ignoring the most important aspects, don’t worry! And any advice in this area I would still love to hear, a person can never stop learning).
