*My dog is a SUPER spoiled English Cream Golden Retriever and she’s my baby girl. I don’t know what I’d do without her! She’s a year and a half and I’m not ready for her to be a big girl!!

*I’m married. We’ve been together for almost 10 years and married for 3. I don’t hate him, but the intimacy is gone and he’d rather play video games than spend time with me.

*Intelligent/educated. Tech school, a book nerd, a corporate drone, a forever academic. I’m not picky, I just want someone I can have interesting and compelling conversations with (while also debating the silly things in life).

*You understand that communication is tricky. I’m a 36 year old twice-published author (two different genres and pen names) living on the East Coast of the US. My day job is doing anything my 1 year old female English Cream Golden Retriever wants (usually belly rubs or opening the door for the 7973947th time 😒) and attempting to get the voices in my head to do something that I can write about so I can avoid the mountain of dishes and laundry that somehow appear despite there only being two people in the household.

Like you, I’m married. I don’t want to bash my spouse or yours, we’re here and that’s enough information for me! I absolutely understand having responsibilities and that silences and time between messages is expected but if there will be a long silence all I ask is for a heads up if possible ☺️

A little about me:

*I’m a bigger girl. Plus size. BBW. Whatever you want to call it. I’m actively losing weight - help encourage me to keep going? I’ve lost over 70 pounds in the last year. My dog is a terrible yoga partner and she doesn’t like walks yet so indoor dance parties, reliving my high school color guard days with the flag I got on fb marketplace for $20 and my recumbent bike it is!

*I read nearly constantly. I am guaranteed to have at least one audiobook, one ebook and one physical book going at the same time so I can bounce around depending on mood and situation. (yay undiagnosed ADHD 🙄 - working on getting it diagnosed)

*I sing in a community choir that I’ve been part of since 2011 and I drive 90 minutes one way each week for rehearsals because they’re like family to me and I’m on the board of directors now as the Librarian and the Secretary.

*I love to cook and bake. I love cooking shows on tv and I don’t think I’ve ever done a recipe exactly as written yet - and I don’t plan to! I love being creative in the kitchen, in my office and sometimes in the bedroom 😏

*I love spending time with my family, my dog and my friends - best if I can see all of them at the same time!

*No kids for me. I found out at 20 it would take a lot of money and medical intervention for a *maybe* and I came to terms with that. I don’t hate kids, I just can’t have them and at this stage in my life… my dog is enough chaos to deal with! I grew up with cats and this is my first dog and she’s 98% good but that 2%… 🤦‍♀️😒

Who I’m looking for:
