Everyone give me your best punishments while traveling. We are staying with family.
My husband tries to address issues in the moment and not save up punishments, but we aren’t seeing a ton of options while we are traveling. Thanks in advance!!
Are your maintenance spankings the same every time? Or do you change it up?
We started doing weekly maintenance spankings in June and we are in the same routine, but my husband asked me how I’d feel if they were less routine (different days of the week, sometimes more/less frequent, sometimes more/less swats, different implement, etc.)
Does it serve the same purpose if it’s not routine…? Let me know your thoughts and experiences!
What are rules, expectations, and general advice that makes your dynamic stronger? What things have you learned along the way that help your DD relationship?
My husband and I have been practicing DD for about 6 months, he was researching for a few months before that. I haven't been punished in almost a month. I'm being spanking tomorrow for a week of bad decisions including being rude, being hateful, and just straight up being mean to him. I recognize that it's been a rough week but when my husband let me know I'll be getting spanked tomorrow, I got a sense of dread. He always does a good job of making me feel safe and loved before, during, and after a spanking, so idk why I feel this way! I just know when he tells me to get over his knee, I won't be able to.
Does anyone have any insight on being able to fully submit and accept my punishment tomorrow?
Any advice on how to be still and maintain the position over his lap during the spanking?
***Update! I followed everyone's advice and we had a chat. It went really well. He reassured me and made me feel really safe and loved. I did still get a spanking but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be :) he made the suggestion to start with some weekly lighter maintenance spankings to go shorter spurts between spanks and also help me feel more comfortable being spanked, which some people had suggested in my DMs. Thank you all for the encouragement!
