No VIP club
So my current situation: I’ve worked a few shifts at an “urban” club I suppose, it’s a bikini bar. No nudity allowed because of the law in my state due to alcohol being served. There is no VIPS only a lap dance section. I have been selling dances at $60 for 1 and $120 for 3. However the manager told me I can’t do that and I have to sell them at $40 a dance plus whatever tip the customer decides to add. $20 of the dance goes to the club.
My question: would it be better to work at a club that offers VIPS? I’ve been making good money at my current club my average is about $700 for five gourds in a medium foot traffic area but I’m working kind of hard to get the money. I know this job isn’t easy but dancing the entire time is strenuous. Since most customers are interested in lap dances I’ve been giving them A LOT, last night I did like 30 dances, I did leave with close to a grand and I’m very grateful for what I’ve been making, but I’m wondering if their sister club would be better because I could sell VIPS and hopefully not dance the whole time. It’s a gentleman’s club, full nude on stage even if no one is tipping (probably the worst thing about that club IMO but I understand that can be apart of the job). I could potentially work at both so perhaps I should just try that. I’m just curious on other people’s experiences! Ty for any advice!
