Storytime!
Hello! I have never posted before, but I have to share my most recent experience at a professional place (at a resort).
I booked a Swedish massage to relax from recent work stress. I was given a male therapist and once he came to get me from the lounge, I was greeted with someone who appears close to my age and to be quite handsome! (I suddenly became nervous)
I removed all clothes and went under just the top sheet. As he began on my back, he moved the sheet down enough to notice I wasn't wearing anything. He applied the perfect amount of pressure and I was immediately relaxed as he worked my back, shoulders, and arms. I was honestly almost asleep.
Once he moved to the back of my legs, then things got interesting. He draped normally now covering my back and glutes. But after he was finishing up with one leg, he asks, "can I work your glutes?"
I have probably received 8 to 10 massages so far in my lifetime, but never has anyone worked my glutes. I responded, "sure."
He moves the drapes to then expose one side, and gets to work. He is definitely a professional and knows how to work through muscles, but I was turned on the rest of the massage, which I'm sure he noticed once he asked me to turn over.
What was also so nice was when he was running his fingers through my hair and scratching my head. He then just held the weight of my head in one hand and arm as he massaged my neck. It just felt very intimate and something I've never experienced on any massage I've received.
After the session, he was incredibly nice, talked about how he hopes I now feel relaxed and if I wanted to return, there would be a discount (but discount not just for spa, but other uses at resort). It did feel a bit awkward convo, as if we were both trying to play it cool?
I know this is a professional place, but am I reading into this too much? I really want to book another one with him (honestly one of the best massages I have ever had), but I don't know if I'm overthinking. What do you guys think???
