I had finally gotten off my plane in the back of the taxi on my way home. After hours of lay overs and almost losing my luggage it was past midnight when I had gotten into my taxi heading home

I mean what was I going to say? Ask about your day? Make small talk? You were the man almost half my age i paid just for your company as well as other things but as our time together got longer we grew closer together.

To the point of the whole time I was gone all I could do was think of you. Who you were with? What gifts did they get you? What nicknames did they give you in bed? Were you whispering sweet nothings into their ear the same way you did with me? Or was I special?

I knew i had no right to be jealous. You didn't belong to me. When we were together I could push those thoughts out of my head and pretend we were the only two people on earth. But being apart was agony. All I could do was hope you felt the same pain I did when we were apart.

I knew it was late and I knew it was a Saturday night you were probably already booked and busy but I just knew I couldn't spend another night apart from you

"I just landed. Will be home in 15. Can you join me?" I debate on saying i miss you and I debate on saying ill pay you double what the woman you're currently with is paying you but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

I finally hit send closing my eyes and and leaning my head back I felt so embarrassed pining over a man half my age who probably didn't give me a second thought. To him I was probably just another paycheck but it didn't matter.
