It's often hard for me to safeword/verbalize in general when I'm in any kind of altered state, but especially in subspace, so I decided to start using a clicker to communicate during scenes and YALL. It was soooo much easier to say yes/green (one click), no/yellow (two clicks) and stop/red (three clicks)!!!

Sometimes I use basic ASL when I can't verbalize, but the clicker was a lot easier since a) most people won't know ASL, even basic signs, and b) you can hear the clicker clear across the room, you don't need to be looking at me and my hands (if I even have access to them, lol) to understand what's being said! Highly recommend for anyone who has trouble verbalizing during scenes for any reason!!
