42 year old African American female visiting London this summer. I'm drawn to London b/c I grew up in NYC and love the energy of the big city.
- I am 5'4, 144lbs, very long dreadlocks. I’m 42, though most people are surprised when I tell them.
- Occupation: I've been in ecommerce over 10 years with 5 years experience as a private landlord. I have a stable and independent life here in the Southeast US.
- Hobbies: yoga, working on my lawn, and I'm currently learning to golf (I hit the ball 70% of the time. Still working on that...).
- Personality: Serious at times but with a good sense of humor, very introspective, thoughtful, silly once in a while.
I live a fairly quiet and drama-free life and I am very selective with how I spend my time. On a Friday/Saturday night, I'm either trying out a new a restaurant that's worth the time or walking on my treadmill while watching an old black and white movie (I have a thing for the silver screen).
I enjoy deep conversation. I am a pretty honest person and I appreciate people who are just as honest and self aware. I naturally gravitate toward people who know exactly what they want and how they want to live. I’m not easily impressed, but I do notice when something or someone is genuinely well put together. I have an eye for detail and appreciate when things are done properly.
I respond well to men who are emotionally intelligent, kind, thoughtful, and someone who values his time and how he chooses to spend it. I like a man with good judgment. I am comfortable with a long-distance relationships if I get on with the right person however, I do value spending time in person.
