I also whipped up some rules for the watch.

The mechanism triggers an immediate and complete stop to time. Everything halts except for the user.

The user can pull others into this timeless state through touch and intention, freeing their entire body and mind. They can also return them to stasis at any moment.

More precise control is possible. The user can choose to unfreeze only a single, specific part of a person's body, such as a hand or their head, while the rest remains perfectly frozen.

When someone is put back into stasis, all conscious memory of what happened while they were unfrozen is wiped clean. They will not remember any actions, words, or events.

However, the feelings created during that time remain. Emotions like trust, fear, attraction, or loyalty are left behind as deep, subconscious impressions. The person is left with powerful instincts they cannot explain.

Even a frozen body shows basic physical reactions. Touch can cause blushing, goosebumps, or arousal. These bodily responses stay visible after time starts again, serving as physical proof of things the mind has forgotten.

This is by far my favourite RP concept by far! I've run it for a dozen people over the past month, and everyone (that hasn't ghosted) has enjoyed it!

Full Body Freeze/Unfreeze: The wearer can bring someone into the timestop fully by touching their temple and willing it, releasing their entire body from the freeze.

Partial Unfreezing: The wearer can unfreeze specific body parts while leaving the rest frozen.

Memory Reset: When a partially or fully unfrozen person is refrozen, they retain no conscious memory of anything that occurred during their unfrozen state.

Emotional/Subconscious Imprinting: While conscious memories are erased upon refreezing, emotional impressions and subconscious feelings persist. A subject can be made to feel trust, safety, fear, arousal, or loyalty toward the wearer without understanding why.

Autonomic Responses: A frozen body still reacts on a purely biological level. Arousal, goosebumps from touch, flushing, pupil dilation, etc. These effects persist after time resumes.

I'm open to this being set in any established world you may desire.

I've been working on this little concept for a while and wanted to share it with anyone who is interested! Here are the rules:

Activation/Deactivation: The timestop is activated and deactivated by pressing the crown of a specific watch. The effect is instantaneous and universal. all time, all motion cease except for the wearer.

Full Body Freeze/Unfreeze: By default, all living beings are frozen solid. They are statues, statues, unaware, unremembering. The wearer can bring someone into the timestop fully by touching their temple and willing it, releasing their entire body from the freeze.

Partial Unfreezing: The wearer can unfreeze specific body parts while leaving the rest frozen. The boundary can be set at any point: head only, head and shoulders, etc. The unfrozen part functions normally while everything below the boundary remains immobile and insensate.

Memory Reset: When a partially or fully unfrozen person is refrozen, they retain no conscious memory of anything that occurred during their unfrozen state. If the wearer decides, an unfrozen person can regain select memories of previous times they were in a timeslip.

Emotional/Subconscious Imprinting: While conscious memories are erased upon refreezing, emotional impressions and subconscious feelings persist. A subject can be made to feel trust, safety, fear, arousal, or loyalty toward the wearer without understanding why. Commands and suggestions planted during the stop may resurface as impulses or instincts.

Autonomic Responses: A frozen body still reacts on a purely biological level. Goosebumps from touch, flushing, pupil dilation, etc. These physical echoes may be felt as phantom sensations when time resumes, but the subject cannot identify their source.

Take what you want, leave no trace: When time resumes, there is no physical evidence of anything that occurred during the stop. No bruises, no fluids, no displaced objects (if the wearer is careful). The world continues exactly as it was with no gaps or inconsistencies. However missing people will be noticed.

The Wearer's Limits: The wearer does not age, tire, or experience normal biological needs at the same rate while time is stopped. They can sleep in the timestop to reset their own exhaustion. The only limits are those the wearer imposes on themselves.

No One Else Is Aware: Unless deliberately brought into the timestop by the wearer, no one has any awareness that time has been stopped.
