So what do you to keep from messing up your house?

Ive tried many different options. 2 layer paper/ plastic drop cloths, towels, painters plastic etc. Every option has its limits, my bedroom has carpet.

Painters plastic gets really sticky

2 layer plastic/ paper drop cloths tear, then get sticky too.

Towels are great, but they're my towels!

I think next time im going to use a legit tarp with plastic under it, and just throw it away when im done.
