Brief description of me? Night owl, drank way too much coffee earlier, loves going on long walks, secretly wishes to go clubbing but doesn’t wanna be that old guy at the club, very silly but can also be super intense, paradoxically a nerd and a bro, lover of smashburgers, lover of Smash the video game, and lover of the Smashmouth hit song "Walking On The Sun," (no not really -- I even looked up their 4th most popular song to land that one), has very strong opinions about what drinks belong on a mug or a glass, and probably one of the raddest hang you’ll have.

Benefits without the friend part is boring. Friends without the benefits part… well if we both decide we’re rad hangs for each other I could definitely see myself just being someone’s friend.

I’ve had full blown affairs and looking for another affair partner seems so overwhelming and too all-encompassing. A sneaky internet link though? Exciting and the right amount of danger I think. Giving each other excuses for running upstairs for seemingly no reason to snap a photo — I mean that’s fun, no?

About me?
6’, HWP, long curly/wavy black hair, not white, glasses and a smile that will melt you. Professor who just finished finals yesterday and now have to read through god knows how many AI slop papers. Outside of lecturing I work the subject I teach. Lover of all music but recently really getting back to ‘90s/‘00s era/style hip-hop and since summer is upon us this elder emo millennial is taking all the sundays back (that either made you cringe or laugh). If we met at a party and got to talking you’d do that reflexive flirty punch thing as I made you laugh and think yourself “Wait… am I flirting with him?” Or we would probably just talk about how sad we are concerning the worldwide trend towards authoritarianism.

About you:
You either skimmed to this part or you read through all the way down here. Either way… yay! Please be old enough to remember using floppy disks. While I don’t have a type, I do tend to get along really well with ambitious and intelligent women.

I’ve done full blown affairs and that takes up way too much time and effort. But I do miss meeting new people that I otherwise wouldn’t have met if it weren’t for a platform like this. Currently working long hours behind my desk and would love a chat buddy to pass the time with.

When not lecturing to students who will just use AI for their final papers and not working the subject I teach, I have normal person hobbies. Currently reading two non-fiction books + a classic novel. I love cooking and I often have friends over for food and drinks. Uhm… definitely left-leaning, plays an instrument really well, and kinda obsessed with falcons, hawks, owls, and other raptors. Workout regularly and pretty HWP.
