About 5 months into paxil prescription to deal with intrusive fetish thoughts / leaking precum

Hello, I've been absent from this sub for quite some time now, but once again I'm feeling lonely.

For those who don't know, I've had issues with the fetish that caused me to think about it all the time and make me horny even when I didn't want to, causing me to leak precum in my underwear and discomfort. Eventually I talked about these issues to my therapist and they decided to make me see a psychiatrist who eventually prescribed me Paxil, an SSRI.

To sum it up: definitely feeling better. That's not to say I never think about the fetish or leak precum, but I've learned to control it better.

The constant discomfort has subsided, even though just recently I felt it again while on the bus for some reason.

Side effects showed up very soon during the prescription. Appetite and drowsiness went up; my sleep cycle has changed drastically: I've established a routine that consists in going to bed late (usually from midnight to 2 am, sometimes even later), waking up way earlier than necessary (like 5 am), having a hearty breakfast, going to sleep again and waking up late (like 11 am). Another bothersome side effect that has since gone down was delayed ejaculation and lack of pleasure during masturbation. Paxil is used to treat premature ejaculation so I can only assume that's why it happened. Reaching climax would be an unpleasant workout everytime. Now, I think I can say I've gone back to normal, as I can comfortably edge and keep going with pleasure.

In exchange, intrusive thoughts have gone way down. I can now enjoy movies, reading and music with a much clearer mind. Before last time, the discomfort hadn't showed up in a while.

I'm afraid the symptoms might start again after becoming active in here again, but whatever, I'm asking for it.
